Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quality and workability Looks pretty strong in pictures however the material is all plastic and quite fragile. I use things very carefully but it seems I will break it one day rolling back. The 150’ capacity is all false claims, if I don’t roll the 75’ carefully and in an organized manner I can’t roll the Whole thing, so have to unroll it and do it all over again. The only plus thing is that the metal ones are very expansive and this seems pretty cheap price wise and you know what else.

It didn't even make it until mid summer before it started leaking at the house water and hose connection. The black connection to the actual reel popped out this year. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. Waste of money.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worthless! Where the included hose attaches to the unit from the faucet there is a female end with a plastic nut cap on it that doesn't turn! So you have to screw the entire hose into the end instead of holding the hose steady and tightening the nut. The hose is only held on to the fitting with a friction fit and blows off when water pressure comes on. Cheaply made junk

More often than not, when reeling in the hose one has to line it up so that it is front of the reel or gather it in front of the reel, so it can be easily wrapped up. By the time you do all this maneuvering, one might just wrap it manually. This reel replaced another one of its kind, it was only one year old and in the fall when trying to reel in the hose the handle broke. Couldn’t find another type.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Many problems. Not worth it. The connecting hose is the main problem. It has one male end and one female end. The female end has nobs that you can use to properly tighten the hose to the water pipe. But the male end does not, so it cannot be turned independently to tighten against the connector. So you have to swing the entire hose with it to screw it on. Even so, it will never be tight enough. It always leaks. The crank handle is also made cheaply. It does out have a outer rotating sleeve. So when you turn it to retract the hose, it rubs against your hand. Any of these problems will make me return it, so it is.
