Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good - but use hearing protection when cutting! I just installed this to extend my shed roof over an outdoor work area. It was easy to work with, flexible, and seems strong. I like that it's truly clear, as it lets plenty of light through. I followed advice and used a finishing/plywood blade, backward, on my skillsaw. The Suntuf cut easily, but the noise when cutting is terrible. I did not have hearing protection, and if it had been a bigger job, I would have quit. It was actually painful. It's advised to pre-drill holes for roofing screws, and I did, but a couple of the holes weren't perfectly placed. I just pushed through, and had no problem with cracking. I'm sure that wouldn't be the case if it were cold out.

I have to tuck a 2’ piece under the 12’ to get the span i need. Should i use a sealant? What kind? Thank you. Mike

Sealing the end lap will prevent water from backing up between the end lap causing any capillary leakage. You may use GE1000 silicone or any other polycarbonate friendly sealant between the sheets.

Is this product good for our Canadian snow winter. I would use it for my outside patio. Would the weight of the snow be OK. My structure is metal with vinyl walls . Thanks for your reply.

How does this product hold up to snow and cold?

I used these corrugated sheets to cover my deck. I installed White ones 2 years ago and they are holding out very well sofar . Last year I exchanged 2 panels with Clear ones to Increase lighting. They have now seen one winter without any problems. Don't do any drilling or cutting in cold weather, they crack easily when cold.

Are roof closure strips necessary when building a greenhouse roof? I read that they only make sense where energy efficiency matters. it doesnt really in a greenhouse, or does it? little airflow is wanted in there I guess? Screw right into the purlins?

Closure strips are commonly used to help support the panel load on the purlins and increase the surface area. This allows for an better structural seal along the flat purlins. The airflow is also a secondary benefit to ensure the temperature inside the greenhouse in minimally effected by the external environment. Yes, the purlins are attached directly to the purlins.
