Rated 4 out of 5 by from Framing Lumber Bought a bunch online and was happy to find that all were as straight as the lengths that I would have chosen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Twisted I bought some boards were 1x2x6 recently. some of them were twisted up pretty bad but I got them to work. I also bought a about 50 2 x 6 x 8 boards. Now those were something else. I build a big deck and let the boards tan to the perfect golden colour and then sealed them right after a few hit hit days we had at the end of July. Took like a bee on the first flower in spring. I was upset though I usually get a 18 month financing letter and for the last few years i come in on my birthday and spend a few thousand on big projects stuff. Not sure what happened this year but I will blame it on covid.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Nope. Rough. Cracked. Tons of joints. Best used as firewood.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fence stakes I used these for stakes to hold up the fence around a newly seeded area, They made fine stakes. I did find that a few of them were quite bowed/warped so I was glad I wasn't using them for trim.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not buying lumber again from home depot. It is all jointed... about 12-15" pieces. The ones I bought at a competitor's store are one piece. Will be buying there in the future. Similarly, 2x2x8 are also jointed pieces together, which not only reduces their strength but also causes them to become 'bent' as those different pieces are with different %age of moisture in them and dry up differently.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not straight Half of the these limber are not straight. I hope in future you could separate the straight ones and curvy ones, even priced them differently, I wouldn’t mind

Is this 8" or 8' long?

    Asked by: bono
The length is 8 feet or 96" . Also note that 1" x 2" is the rough cut, and the actual width and depth are slightly smaller at 3/4" x 1-1/2" or 19 x 38 mm Trust me. I'm a doctor.
