This energy efficient water heating technology will give you more hot water for showering by increasing your hot water heater capacity. The ThermoDrain transfers the waste heat energy going down the drain to preheat incoming cold water. The heat transfer is done using the latest technology in double wall heat transfer and is Intertek certified for use with potable water. The more hot water you use, the faster it pays itself off and the more you will save on your energy bills and help the environment. The ThermoDrain is easy to install and comes with factory installed crimp PEX fittings and almost everything you need for an effortless installation. It is compatible with any type of water heater.

  1. The ThermoDrain is quite easy to install and requires no soldering. It comes with two factory installed ¾" crimp PEX fittings and two drain couplings
  1. The ThermoDrain TDH3335B-DR-PEX measures 33.5 inches long and is 42.1% efficient. It fits 3 inch drain pipes and ¾ inch water fittings
  1. A 40-gallon hot water tank alone will give you 29 minutes of continuous shower time, when you add a ThermoDrain, you get 75-90 minutes of shower time (depending on the model efficiency)
  1. Increase tankless hot water flow rates by up to 75% (example: 4.9 GPM (18.5 LPM) to 8.4 GPM to (31.8 LPM) when coupled with a natural gas tankless water heater 0.93 UEF)
  1. TDH3335B-DR-PEX can preheat cold water to the water heater from 50.0°F (10.0°C) to 71.1°F (21.7°C) while showering
