Rated 4 out of 5 by from Toro 12” 60 volt electric snow shovel. This particular electric snow shovel gets down to the pavement. Because there is no direction change available it only discharges straight out in front. This isn’t a problem if you are on a large lot and the snow is staying on your own property. I use ours to clear the back deck and our front walkway. It does a great job. The 2 speeds do keep the distance down a bit which helps. The battery is more than adequate for my use . It definitely throws the snow with no problem. I found this electric shovel to be very good. I wouldn’t recommend it for small confined areas because you can’t direct the discharge to the side. The price isn’t cheap but I bought it anyway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great little snow shovel you will wish was wider Great cordless snow shovel. Always check to see where the wind is blowing when using this otherwise the snow can blow back in your face. This has saved me so much time and effort. This will be heavy for some at about 20 lbs. I've done 2 ft snow drifts and just went over the area twice to clear the snow. The blade is plastic so you need to use some logic and break up the hard snow at the end of the driveway which is left by the city snowplows and then let the snow shovel do it's job. I would have given this 5 stars but I wish this shovel was wider; an 18" titanium blade would be perfect. I definitely recommend this product and if Toro comes out with a wider unit I'll sell mine to my cousin and pick up the wider one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy snow removal This power shovel is a great tool for snow removal. It lived up to all expectations and is fun to use. I had read about it being a bit heavy, and it can be, but still easy to handle. I also had read that the battery did not last long...and this I do find to be true. Still it was enough to do both the deck and the walkway. And if I have a problem with this tool, it might be that I could use a longer handle or where the battery housing is situated, maybe it could have a handle where you could grab it from, as I find myself pushing the shovel by the said battery housing, which it is not made for. Other than that, I am very satisfied with it and I might buy another 60V tool this summer so that I can own at least two batteries.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It works as advertised Bottom line it works. Throws heavy snow very well. Would need some mods to bring it up to a 5-star though. 1) it's pretty heavy. You really need a 2.0 or 2.5ah battery. Anything larger the weight becomes an issue 2) it's only 12 inches wide. So you're continuously going back and forth because of the limited coverage area. 3) only throws forward - would be nice to have angle options 4) it's expensive 5) ..did I say it's expensive :( Wow. Pricey

can I use a 60v 2.0ah battery pack on my 12" toro snow shovel if in the specs it mention the 2.5ah battery pack?

Hi, Brian! Thanks so much for your question. Yes, you are correct, if your snow blower can hold up to three batteries, you can use two 7.5 aH batteries supplemented with one 2.5 aH battery. We never recommend using the 2.5 aH battery as your only source of power in your snow blower or lawn mower. Hope this helps, thanks!
