Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy Compact, gas powered (so effective through heavy snow), throws snow including heavy snow well and at a good distance, easy to push, quick and easy start. All around great buy. Just used it for the first time this weekend with 20cm wet snow and acquitted itself extremely well.

I throws the snow seeminly about 30-35 feet. I have an electric starter, but I yet to use it. I have started the engine with the pull cord, and everytime it started with one east pull! I really like that the engine is a 4 stroke and uses gas without having to mix oil (as I had to do earlier with the old toro which is a 2 stroke engine). Note: I also found a Maverick Gas Station which has several pumps which are ethanol free.)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent for clearing snow up to about 9 inches. Cleans snow off of concrete and asphalt very well. Good power to go through snow plow pile and throws snow very far. Light enough to get up a few steps and compact for storing in garage. Electric start works great too.

I'm wondering would this Toro 721E be easy to work with than my MTD 24" gas. I find it's hard on my chest due to had a quadruple bypass few years ago. Looking for something lighter and easy to maneuver etc. Thanks

    Asked by: Jerey63
The benefit of Toro’s 721E single stage machine is speed with ease. Using one of the larger single stage engines on the market, this machine delivers power to blast thru snow, couple that with the Power Curve rotor design and the self-propelled features this machine gets your driveway cleared fast and back inside in the warmth.

I have an asphalt driveway that is not fully aligned well. Would this product help remove the snow better or. 2 stage blower ?

    Asked by: Aladdin
Both products will remove snow from your driveway extremely well. The key difference between this product and a two stage is that the auger/rubber paddles will engage with your driveway leaving it swept clear of snow almost as if you have boomed it clear. Because of this direct contact with the driveway, you may find that the single stage will bump over cracks or uneven areas in your driveway. A two stage snow blower, as designed will leave a light dusting, normally a ¼” or so of snow. Depending on the size of the cracks or unevenness and because of the clearance designed in the machine, you may not notice the unevenness as much with a two stage machine.

I am looking to purchase this for my dad.  He has a large gravel driveway out in the country.  After a lot of snow. won't see or feel the gravel. Is this model okay for gravel driveways?  Thanks

    Asked by: Suzanne
No, this model is not recommended for gravel because the rotor is constantly contacting the ground and it could throw the gravel. It is recommended for paved surfaces. We would recommend a two-stage snow blower for gravel. Two stages typically leave a thin layer behind because the augers are not touching the ground and they have adjustable skids. Thank you.
