Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Tool I've had mine for about month now. Have done everything from light duty to heavy duty work and it's just simply a great tool. Day One I charged it up and made about 50 cuts through some 4" to 6" logs. Day Two, still on the same charge, I trimmed about 50 feet of branches. Fully charged, yesterday I cut up 4 big stumps, all 20" plus, by cutting into sections. This is a far better chain saw than the gas powered saw I replaced.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Aussi bien qu'une 50cc à essence.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good light duty saw if you adjust it before hand I'm torn on the chainsaw. On one hand it managed to take down 30 - 15' tall large cedars with up to 6" trunks which was probably more than it should have been put to work for. In that respect it performed admirably. On the other hand the factory tightened chain was too loose to begin with despite being within their specs. The first chain came off within 6 cuts and kinked. I took the saw back and got a replacement (excellent service by HD). The chain again came off within 3 cuts but thankfully didn't kink. I had to open the side up and use a flathead to manually tighten it. Once I did that it was no issue. As for battery life the 2.5ah battery does not last very long. Unless you're doing a small amount of work with thin branches you'll go through it very quickly. Luckily I had two 6ah batteries from my Toro snowblower that I could cycle in so it all worked out. Buying it as it I would say make sure you go in and adjust it a bit tighter and make sure you don't have much cutting to do in one go and it's a great little saw.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A very good purchase I'm very surprised happily about this saw is very powerful it can cut 12 in limbs or trunks easily without jamming or stalling i am fortunate to have two batteries ones being charged and the other is being used so I can work all day with it

Can this chainsaw be exposed to wet conditions? Not necessarily cutting, I am using it on my atv and it may be exposed to rain. Is this bad for the battery/saw?

Asked by: SaskXplorer
Hi, there! Thanks for your question. No, do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock. Thanks!

What is the proper sized file to buy, for sharpening the chain?

Asked by: FlyMan1669
Hi, there! Thanks for your question. We do not specify a file size for sharpening the chain. You can view more information on page 23 of the manual at: https://www.toro.com/getpub/200226. Thanks!
