Much effort along with your stride., easy to manage the catcher. Came fully assembled and was ready to mow after putting in fuel and included oil.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice mower The only thing I don’t like about it is it feels cheaper than my last toro recycler. The mower itself is very light and has a tendency to bounce. The deck is a lot lighter. It is easier to maneuver though.

I think the self propel feature should pull backwards instead of forward. I think it should also be front wheel drive, unless you like doing "wheelies". I also dislike the small wheels in the rear. Bogs down and stalls in average grass if it's a little damp. Overall I would rate this mower about a .5 if that choice was available. Never buy another Toro.

Does this mower work well on hills. I am a female and need the variable speed to manage hills.

    Asked by: Bluenoser64
No I am afraid that this mower does not work well on slopes as I have a sloping yard and it is quite tiring as you have to push it every time you want it to move. Personal Pace is only power assisted and you have to push it up the slope for it to move. When you stop pushing it stops dead so you have to keep on pushing.

What does CSA mean? and what if the product is not CSA?

CSA stands for Canadian Standards Association. There are no CSA standards for mowers. Our mowers and snow throwers are all certified to meet ANSI standards.

so what does 7.0 gross torque translate to HP?

    Asked by: Anonymous
hp = torque * RPM / 5252 assume rpm = 3600 Using this formula 7.0 torque converts to 4.8 horses . note that old HP claims were overstated , thats why they switched to torque . The torque also varies according to the rpm.
