Rated 5 out of 5 by from Almost have the whole lineup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the way it feels and handles and I bought all the 60v tools except the grass edger the 60v trimmer does a great job at that. The mower is the 12466 cuts great and is quiet I owned another brand for years and switched glad I did. Sold / gave them to a friend and the performance of the hedge trimmer is great even helped that same friend cut some tree branches with the pole saw and showed off the difference in power of his donated blower and the toro blower very satisfied with all that I have. Forgot I didn't buy the chain saw but would have if I didn't have two one gas one battery. Thanks Toro

I bought this machine 1) to handle less than two inches of snow on a 150 x 120 ft driveway. 2) to detail the edges, do sidewalks, and especially clear plow residue at the end of the driveway 3) because it was light and my driveway goes straight up at 45 degree angle and I am 75 I really needed something light. 4) Also at 54lbs I expected if I wanted to haul it somewhere I could lift it into the back of my Pick up without to much trouble. WE have had two snow falls since purchase one heavy and one light and it gas met all my expectations. Especially with plow residue even though it is not self propelled if you take it slow the steel auger cut through the big chunks easily.

When I saw this at the big box store, I needed to find out more about it. So I went online and did some research. It has great reviews, same Toro parts as the gas counterparts and the battery can be used on a lawn mower! I purchased the lawn mower too. Timely delivery, easy out of the box with only a few adjustments. After charging the battery, I put it in the snow blower, pulled the handle back and pushed the start button. Started right up! Can't wait till it snows so that I can really test it out!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't throw your money away Just purchased and broke the scraper within 20 minutes Toro states you need to change the Scraper every 20 hours. Home depo stated they do not sell the replacement so if you are OK with spending all the money and once the part is warn or brakes your totally out of pocket. Very Very Poor Service Home Depo and this product should not be sold if the one part that has to be replaced is unavailable.

It is Easy to start, quiet, easy to use, HOWEVER, we’ve had it less than a year and it just suddenly quits working. We have had it repaired under the warranty once and now it’s in the repair shop again. It’s sat in the repair shop more than we’ve had it to use. My husband bought this so I could easily clear our driveway and sidewalks as he is gone out of town for work often. I’ve had to shovel through 5 snow storms since we got this “great” machine less than a year ago. So very disappointed and quite frankly angry we ever bought this.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to use and Powerful! I purchased my Toro Flex-Force 60V snow blower last winter prior to a big nor'easter. Previously I had been struggling with a smaller Electric snow blower that just didn't have the power for deep snow. The Toro Flex-Force pushed easily along my driveway and was able to clear all of the embankments left by the plow! The scraper cleared the snow right down to the asphalt. As I generally end up clearing my driveway in the evening, I found the LED light a huge help! The battery charge was solid each time I used the machine. I would highly recommend this product.

We tried both Ego and Toro for about 2 months and found the Toro blower easier to use. It is lighter which makes forward progress, moving and turning easier. The Toro runs with one battery in place, which makes it lighter. As far as snow throwing distance is concerned, both are about the same. We cleared snow up to 8" thick with this blower and while it was some hard work, it handled it fine. With wet snow, no matter what single stage blower you use, without powered wheels it is going to be tough. I would highly recommend the Toro cordless blower.

This thing is a powerhouse for its size and weight. It seems to chew up snow and ice effortlessly. Even a slushy mix doesn't faze it much. The unit is pretty light weight for easy maneuvering. I usually end up snow blowing at night so the LED lights are fantastic. I had wondered how hard it was going to be to push the unit forward because it doesn't have a self propelling action like most gas units but the way this thing chews up and spits out whats in front of it make is darn easy. The scraper bar does a great job as well cleaning all the way to the pavement with ease. Great job on this unit Toro, I'll be checking out your mowers in the spring!

Is toro battery snow blower self propelled

This blower is a single-stage push snow blower however, the Power Edge™ auger technology assists in pulling all that heavy wet snow to the middle and out the chute in one swift motion, requiring less push force and increasing your efficiency. I purchased the Power Clear 21-inch 60V Lithium-Ion Brushless Cordless Electric Snow Blower with Two 6.0 Ah Batteries and Charger in Oct this year.  I am 100% satisfied with its performance and throwing power in all levels of snow including the harder stuff that street ploughs push into the driveway entrance.  The batteries are amazing.  During the last big snowfall, I plowed three driveways and still had 25% remaining in the one battery I used, so still had one full battery available.  In my opinion, you will not regret purchasing this machine particularly with no gas and no electric cord required.

Why doesn't this use rubber paddles like the Toro 721 line? I would think that this model's metal auger wouldn't do as good of a job cleaning down to the bare driveway as the 721 gas powered line -- is that right?

The use of a metal auger is strategically selected for our battery application as it is lighter which results in a longer run time. It also helps to easily chew through icy snow. However, we knew customer’s, like yourself, would want this to clear down to the pavement so we made sure it did that too. The Toro Power Clear 60v snow blower scrapper design allows this machine to clear all the way down to the pavement, even picking up those stubborn car tracks. How long it takes to charge the battery and how long it can operate snow blowing after charging (assuming 20cm of snow for example). Thanks!

The snow blower comes with two batteries, I charge them before hand. I have a wide 2 car garage drive way, I clean the drive way and still the battery has 2+ charge. I never had to use two of them simultaneously. How long it takes to charge the battery, I have not measured it, I usually leave it and when it is full automatically it stop. Storage dimension are: 27.1" x 22.4 x 25.4 (68.8 cm x 56.9 cm x 64.5 cm). The snow blower weighs about 60 lbs with the battery. The battery is approximately 7 lbs. Thank you.

No. My driveway has a slope. No problem going uphill; the snowblower is surprisingly light weight. I did have to dig in my heels a bit going downhill as it was slippery.
