I was surprised that a piece this size and weight didn't ship in a more reinforced container, using a wooden framework. However, it hadn't even a scratch on it and the engine started with the first pull of the cord. This machine works like a beast. It's powerful and shoots a rooster tail at least 20 ft. I'm very satisfied and highly recommend this product!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Auger on the thin side, breaks easy. After using our snow blower twice the auger being on the thin side, didn't hold up, it broke. Never before have we heard of such a thing happening to a snow blower. It is now gone for repairs. We have a totally paved driveway and very disappointed that we may have to do without a snow blower for the rest of the winter. We are seniors and cannot use shovels. We cannot have snow removal done by local vehicles because our driveway is not big enough. If we had to do it over again we would not have purchase this snowblower.

Is the 724 qxe or 824 qxe will be back ?
Asked by: Len
The SnowMaster 724 QXE (36002) and 824 QXE (36003) will not be available again until July, 2021. The SnowMaster 724 ZXR (36001) is still available. The difference between it and model 36002 is the electric start and Quick Stick chute control features. For other options, view the Toro snow blower lineup at toro.com/snow. Thank you.

I have a steep driveway. Does the personal pace make it more difficult to control the speed? Would a different model be better for slopes?
Asked by: Chrissy
Not at all. The personal pace means it goes at the speed your are walking. Basically the handle bar slides to control the power to the wheels so as you push into the handle more there is more power to the wheels and it goes faster. In effect, it goes as fast as you chose to walk with not much effort pushing except what is needed to push in the sliding handle. Much better than chunky two stage mowers with set speeds that are either two slow or you can't keep up with. With this, if you start to slip or slow down the blower slows down with you. I've done a grass (frozen ground) hillside for my dogs at about a 20 degree slope - any steeper and I think I'd have trouble not slipping when going up but going down would be fine.

CAN I USE THIS SNOWBLOWER ON MORNINGS THAT SHOW UP WITH 3 FEET OF SNOW?

CAN I USE THIS SNOWBLOWER ON MORNINGS THAT SHOW UP WITH 3 FEET OF SNOW?
Asked by: SEEKINGSNOWBLOWER
Slow going but yes. Will have to push in multiple times. The deepest I've done is 2.5ft and that took a long time with sometimes needing a shovel to knock down the top layer when i just a cave underneath and the top refused to fall down. Neighbors with large two stage blowers didn't seem to have much easier of a time than me.

Explain " auto steering "

Explain " auto steering "
Asked by: Lars
Like a slip differential. The single bar controls the wheel drive. As you walk into the mower the drive bar slides and engages the power to the wheels at the same speed as you are walking so almost no physical effort pushing except to engage the drive bar. The "auto steering" is due to the two powered wheels not being on a fixed axel so as you start to turn one way the wheel on the inside does not spin as fast as the one on the outside, just like a slip differential in a truck that gives power to the wheel on the outside. The entire machine is also fairly lightweight compared to a chunky two stage blower so it is very easy and fast to pivot the thing 180 at the end of a row and start back down again.

Does it come with oil?

Asked by: Sar03
All snow blowers come pre-filled with oil or include a bottle of oil with it to be poured in upon assembly. The SnowMaster comes pre-filled. View the Operator Manual for set up instructions. Thank you.
