Also, rates high as a night light when I need to find the toilet! Still trying to get the features tweaked - for instance, the bowl cleaner comes on every time someone gets within 3 feet of the lid, which is more than I require the bowl to be sprayed, although I do enjoy not having to scrub the bowl as much anymore.

During a bathroom renovation, I had an outlet installed by the electrician. Installing the Washlet seat was relatively simple and straight forward. During the last few months, I’ve found the Washlet to be very helpful in keeping clean and feeling fresh. However, paper is still needed for a complete cleansing. How much paper is used depends on the long one sprays.

I looked at both the TOTO S500e seat and the #CST446CEMG-01. I couldn't get the bowl dimensions on the toilet, but it's a fair chance since both the bowl and seat are elongated, that the seat will fit the bowl in question. Not sure how much of the cord and hose you're wishing to conceal since both trail out the rear-right bottom of the tank area. Cheers!

No, SoosatMysSckMaint, it is designed for use on an elongated toilet only. You might want to check out model S300e which has similar features but is designed for a round front toilet.

Hello BF, Yes. The S500e will fit onto the TOTO Aquia. We recommend getting the WASHLET+ T40 version of the WASHLET (SW3046T40) because that model Aquia features a WASHLET+ channel for you to conceal the cords. Standard versions of the WASHLET do not have concealable cords. You will also need to get a fill valve extender in order to connect the water connections on the full skirt of the Aquia. Hi - do you know how much current is actually required to run the Washlet 500 ? The outlet is typically rated at 120V and 15A, however this device surely does not draw anywhere near 15 Amps. I am investigating whether I can run this from a solar power source which I already have in the master bath, and run that through an inverter to provide 120 volts. It seems like a couple of amps would be more than enough, it may even only draw a few hundred milliamps when running. If you have any idea what the actual current draw is that would help me determine which inverter and battery combination will work best to run this from the sun for the most sustainable solution possible.

Hello Mochi, We know that most US homes do not have an outlet near the toilet, but we hope this will change over time as more and more people learn the benefits of an electric bidet seat. We feel that having an outlet installed is well worth the investment. Once you live with an electric bidet seat, you simply cannot go back. We don't recommend the use of extension cords, although sometimes people will use them temporarily while having their outlet installed. I hope this is helpful and thank you for your interest in TOTO!
