I have used this product for years. any time there is a scratch on wood work I use a small cloth and put a small amount of trade secret on cloth and wipe the scratch. The scratch goes away immediately.

We needed to refinish/touch up the tops of 8 dining room chairs of good quality fruitwood color wood and touch up scratched and worn out parts on end tables. Kit came with crayon fillers, dark and light stains, and a furniture polish/cleaner. I followed the directions and applied the dark stain - several coats, with dry time in between, then used the polish. Very happy with the results. My 30 plus year old furniture looks great! Jane

Need to fix gouges on my prefinished hardwood floors. It has darker and blonde streaks. Anybody know if this could work

You can use the wax repair stick to fill the gouges if they are deep enough for the wax to grip. You can then shade and tone with the the touch-up markers. It would be a good idea to use a finish (like the Trade Secret crystal clear finish) to seal the repair. Do one repair first in an inconspicuous area to make sure that it provides the desired results. Thanks.

Will this product get rid of white water rings?

Hi Patti, the Restoration Kit may help reduce the visibility of the rings by using the scratch removers (possibly with an additional process using toothbrush as an abrasive to access the damage under the finish BEFORE using the scratch remover - test all of these processes and products in an inconspicuous area first). However, you will likely have better success using the Trade Secret White Ring Remover marker.

How do you use this product ? What's the dry time

The polish can be used as regularly as needed. Always remember to spray into the cloth and not directly on the surface. The scratch removers may also be used regularly. It is key to apply and remove within 10 minutes or so. The product isn't designed to sit on the surface for prolonged periods. So once you apply then wipe off, it should dry quite quickly. Thanks.
