Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ok I’m not sure who decided to split the main grill grate into two separate halves, but it just doesn’t make any sense. I was expecting a complete cast iron replacement for the main grill grate, and then the porcelain grate to ADD as the upper level grate (that the grill doesn’t come with from factory). Unfortunately, I still don’t have an upper grate, and the main grilling area is half cast iron, half porcelain, IN TWO SEPARATE PIECES, lol. Kinda ridiculous, but whatever. Ima use it because it’s my only option. Think bigger Traeger, please.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great idea! A cast iron grate over the main grilling area is a smart idea. I own a competitors version and all of the grates are porcelain coated. The porcelain on the smaller grate over the pellet box has started to come off! It is because when subjected to very high heat the to dissimilar materials expand and contract at different rats. This causes the stress cracks in the porcelain, resulting in it flaking off. To quote Elton Brown "this is jot good eats"!
