Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent! Purchased 5 boxes on special for 42$ each and installed over concrete floor in my laundy (11' x 11'). Cleaned the floor with TSP and applied Behr Bonding Primer to help adhesion before tiling. Totally impressed so far -- went down easy and sticks very well. Score and snap works great for fitting. Cutting corners for entrances was a bit tedious but not a big deal (just use a sharp utility knife and a steady hand). I have grout left to do but don't anticipate any issues (based on research, cleanup of excess grout is best done with regular Windex as it removes the grout from the tile and not the grout lines -- we'll see) Overall very impressed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good final result *SEE PICTURES! Everything went very nicely with this product. The final result was just what we were looking for. The only thing that was a hic up was one of our boxes of tiles had a different texture the the others which made some of the tiles unusable. As a tip for those sticking this tile to linoleum, we were concerned it may not stick super well, and just to be sure I used a spray adhesive right on the cleaned linoleum, I let it sit for a couple minutes and then stuck the tile to the adhesive. It worked beautifully! The tiles stuck down superbly. The adhesive I used is "3M Hi-Strength 90 Spray Adhesive" about $14 per can. Worth every penny as well,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product! Fast and easy to install, and looks like ceramic tile. I have now used this tile in four different places and could not possibly be happier with the results. The thickness of the tile gives the appearance of ceramic, installed with or without grout. It cuts easily with a simple score of a utility knife and a bend. The adhesive is first rate, bonding tightly, but allows for repositioning if you make a mistake. The pattern is actually random, as it is made up of tiny micro crystals bonded to the surface (as I understand it), so no two tile are alike. This adds to the natural ceramic tile appearance in the finished floor. Also, the surface is more resilient and more insulated on the feet than hard tile, making it even that much nicer to live with.

So, I decided to use these tiles as a backsplash and I Luv Luv Luv them. They were very easy to cut and a lot less work than using traditonal tiles. They look so good my daughter thought they were stone tiles as she calls them. The only negative was I was having a problem with them staying on the walls so I used old reliable liquid nails and woowho! it's working so far. I have not grouted yet because I want to make sure there are no issues, so when adhesive is cured, I will grout.Up loading pictures to show the progress so far. Will give a final update when grouting is complete. Thank you Home Depot for keeping my mind occupied and out of my husbands hair! lol lol lol, by the way, he's bald!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product ! Excellent product. Looks just like Porcelain, but warmer and easier to install. For a great installation, be sure to properly prep your subfloor first. (The instructions for doing so are printed on each box of product.) Would be nice if local Home Depots had a sample of all of the color choices, but if they don't and you want to risk ordering online, they gladly take returns at your local store. I had an excellent experience with this product and with Home Depot in purchasing it - I highly recomend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product, easy to work with This is a great product. It installed extremely easily over existing vinyl and has held up very well over the past year. We used the premixed grout and 1/8" spacers to finish the job. You can't tell the difference between this and ceramic since it's grouted, it's warmer than ceramic tile, and total install time of a 10x15 bathroom was about 3 hours. I recommend cutting with a tin snips rather than the recommended utility knife, it makes cutting much easier, and it's easier to keep cuts straight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy install, looks great, how will it hold up? This floor looks great in my bathroom. Friends were amazing I could cut the "stone" around the curved bathroom so nicely until I told them it was vinyl. Thicker than other vinyl I saw, about 1/8 inch. I used groat with the tiles. I had some difficulty cleaning the groat haze off the tiles when I tried after 18 hours (I used the brand Home Depot recommends and sells). The tiles were sticky and water helped but didn't get all the stickiness off. I ended up using a semi-strong tile cleaner on it which fix it up. I would get all the haze off as early as possible, that might help. I am very satisfied so far and am hoping it will keep looking good for a while. Groating around a flexible piece of plastic makes me nervous, but all I can say is that it looks great now 2 weeks later and I'm crossing my fingers.

(Owns apartments) It is easy to insall and updates the look of each room it has been placed in. Durable and looks great grouted. I reccomend to anyone who is a DIYer. I have used real tile in the past and wow is this sooooo much easier and in the end it looks like the real thing, Bonus it is warm on your feet in the winter- no more freezing tile to step on!

Is there a protective cover (such as wax) that I can put over it to protect it and make it shine?

The floor has a slight sheen to it already, so wax might not work. There are grout sealants you can apply to protect the grout.

How do you apply grout?

I used a grout float. The instructional video said to avoid getting grout on the whole tile, just near the gaps. That's not really possible. After packing in the grout, wipe it 2 or 3 times with a damp sponge. Let it dry to a haze and wipe it again. DO NOT let the haze sit for more than 12 hours or it will become impossible to remove. Also, use 1/8 tile spacers. You'll need 1 quart of grout per 100 square feet.

I am putting these down over a wood floor. I was advised not to grout them because the grout will not stick to a wood floor. Is this true?

Thank you for your question. I have never heard that the grout won't stick to the wood floor. We have had excellent results with the pre-mixed latex grout. I would consult with Custom Building Products. They are the manufactures of the grout and would be able to give you a definite answer.

I don't see any pink/peach tones in mine- it's grey and beige. But it is a "forgiving" combination, by that I mean it works as a neutral, and blends with many color schemes.

Is this tile temperature proof?

The product specifications listed on this web page for the product state that it is to be used INDOORS ONLY AND IN TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENTS ONLY. So the short answer is no it cannot be used where you have freezing temps according to the specs listed. I believe the other person who answered this question is incorrect.
