Rated 4 out of 5 by from Follow up 2 months later Follow up review: I have had this in my basement bedroom now nearly 2 months, this floor is great, I haven’t used it much yet but I’m done the whole room and I haven’t had a single issue with it. The locking mechanism is 8/10, it’s a little harder to get the flooring connected into each lock which I found weird, it eventually went in. Tip: you need to hammer the locks in hard with the hammer, this floor is very strong it won’t break from hammering hard. I’ve dropped my hammer many times on this floor, dragged a ladder, dropped a couple saws and haven’t noticed a scratch. I did a key test on this floor to try scratching it but I couldn’t scratch it. For a dark floor I’m surprised it doesn’t scratch easy.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very good quality, surprising how cheap Picked this up today for my basement, starting in a basement bedroom. This stuff is great quality, I have a laminate flooring in the upstairs of my home that’s much more expensive costing $120 a box but same thickness and I got to say I can’t tell a difference. It’s a little harder to install to the other laminate I have, which makes sense as there’s a big cost difference but very strong flooring nothing has broke when installing. I’m only giving it a 4/5 as I just installed it so hopefully it holds up to this rating. If you’re choosing between this and the traffic master laminate that’s slightly cheaper go for this it’s much thicker and stronger. I’m not sure if this flooring is water resistant, I’m hoping it is as it’s in my basement but either way it’ll do the job. When installing this you may notice that it doesn’t go flat till you lay the next row but it smoothens out.

Planning to install this on the main floor of a rental property. Will we have issues with it at the front door if there's a good mat over it to protect it from wet shoes/boots, etc.

Hi, Thank you for your question, The vendor have not recommended to put this floor in an entrance as it will get damaged. They suggest to use a tile in an entrance.

Yes it goes together pretty easy. You do have to tap the wends with a mallet to make sure its tight in place.
