Does this product need underlayment ?

Thanks for your question. This product cannot be used with underlayment. If you have a wood subfloor, you'll need to install directly on top. If your subfloor is concrete, you'll need to use 6 mil poly sheeting as a moisture barrier.

flooring wasn't completed in my basement, and the final grip strip is currently under a floor transition. Is there a way to re-use the grip-strip adhesive maybe with a heat gun, or is there another adhesive that is safe to use on the old grip strip?

Hello, I am wanting to use this flooring in my basement over concrete. I am concerned, however that the temperature in my basement is almost always a few degrees below 65. Will this cause issues with the flooring?

It would be cold. You can get the insulating boards from Home Depot as a subfloor then lay this. These are floppy to hold but durable when installed no insulation whatsoever though.
