Trex Seclusions gate post stiffener is used as a post insert in the hinge post only for a Seclusions gate opening. The gate post stiffener reduces movement of hinge post due to the stress of a dense Trex Seclusions Gate hanging on the post. Gate post stiffeners are galvanized to protect the steel from corrosion and rust. The gate post stiffener is not included with the Seclusions Gate Package. This is item is purchased separately just in case a Seclusions gate is used for a different fence type and the Seclusions gate post stiffener is not required.
- Galvanized steel post 12 gauge 108 long
- Post stiffener Dimensions fit perfectly inside of Seclusions post, C-channel profile, open end of c-channel faces away from gate
- Used only for gate hinge post for post movement reduction, latch post not recommended
- Seclusions gate hardware comes with self-tapping screws to attach to steel
- Post stiffener allows for fastener steel to steel attachment, some cutting to length may be required for gate post stiffener
