Rated 1 out of 5 by from BAD Be forewarned. This is really, really badly constructed. The shelves are great, but the joints, crazy. They don’t fit tight at all, like nada, nothing. If you lift the unit, it will separate at the place you grabbed it. I’ve never seen shelving like this, and I’ve bought many. Just make the poles a bit thicker where they go into the shelves, it couldn’t have been that much more expensive. Is it just a dud? I have no way of knowing. Want to return, but bought online and they were delivered, so the hassle involved in trying to return probably isn’t worth it. Can’t drive at the moment. Sorry I ever bought these, you will be disappointed and frustrated too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Probably the best for the price Like all of these type of units, assembly is a bit bewildering, but in fact, it took me only 20 minutes. Just push the feet into the bottom of any shelf as far as it will go; and push the first four posts into the too of that shelf as far it will go. Subsequent shelves are pushed into the posts so that they project 1/2 inch through the shelf, then the next post is just pushed as far onto it as possible. The caps won't fit if the last post projects by that 1/2. You could keep the post back a little to make room or do what I did which was just leave the cap off and push the post all the way through to 1/2 inch exposure.

I wouldn't put tires on the top shelf, but you could literally pack these shelves with anything and it will hold. Also comes with brackets for safety measures. Made from recycled plastic. Kill two birds with one stone. Help the environment and organize your clutter.

I was impressed with the quality and have always kept them in mind for whenever I may need them. Last week I was reorganizing the storage locker in my appartment and realized I needed a storage shelf. For $50 this shelf set is more than satisfactory. It has a decently strong build and holds up as much weight as I wanted to put on it. It just barely fit in my storage locker I should have measured it before lol. Heads up, I wouldn't put anything extremely heavy on it. In our actual unit we have the same thing but just one shelf and we have a big 40lbs bag of cat litter along side with a couple other heafty items and there is strong bend in the plastic. No cracks or fragility but still bending slot.

I bought 2 of these and it fit beautifully in my basement and could hold lots of items on it. Following week I bought 2 more of these shelfs on the last day of the offer. Very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, well built and fits the bill Cheap, fits the bill, and pretty strong. Not the nicest thing in the world and isn't going to hold a ton of bricks. But in your furnace room, basement, etc, this thing will keep up with what you need. Make sure the dimensions fit your space, there are a few different sizes, and the varied configurations and very cheap prices are great. If you want something super strong for your garage/tools/workshop, go to the Husky, Dewalt, Costco metal racks.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Economical But Low Quality Flimsier than I expected. The plastic flange all the way around the shelves is flimsy and brittle, and one already had a crack in it before even unpacking. Another cracked during assembly. So far just an aesthetic issue, but I don't see these holding up to any sort of impact. I would also not push the load rating of these shelves, especially towards the middle as even well within the max rating, the shelves sag noticeably. Between that and the brittle plastic, I'm certain they wouldn't last long if used to hold things on the heavier side of their limit. On the positive side, this style of shelving is very easy to assemble without any tools, and is relatively lightweight which makes it easy to move an assembled unit without taking it back apart.

Can this be assembled to any desired height without using all tiers and shelves? I am looking to do 3 tiers with these dimensions. Are the poles long at 72" each or are they individual poles for each shelf/tie

I do use them indoors but as the are plastic I do not see why you couldn't use them in all weather... if freezing I would not take them apart as plastic can break in this situation... I would recommend them

25" Remember on the very top shelf you are able to have larger containers as long as the weight is properly distributed on the lower shelves. :)
