Although it was pricier than alternatives, it looks great in the kids' playroom (which was the only available place) and fit conveniently in the only free space there. It is a great size and look if you don't have room for a big horizontal freezer. The shelf-buckets are also a nice touch - very helpful to keep stuff from spilling out. It looks a bit like an old Coca Cola machine! We haven't hit summer yet, though, and that's always the test of a freezer!

Do the drawers get stuck when they ice up? How do you do manual defrost without leaking?

So far the top drawer has iced up. We have not attempted to defrost it..there is no button..you need to unplug so that is a drag,..the top part of the freezer is where the ice collected up you can still pull the top drawer out.
