Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waiting is the hardest part Took some time for HomeDepot to get it to me, but then it was ordered around the holidays so I was not expecting instant gratification just wish they wouldn't lie repeatedly about when it was to be delivered. I have little complaint with the unit itself other than the price seems a bit high for basically a bigger dorm fridge with a freezer. Mine arrived in perfect condition, well packed, boxed and strapped on a pallet with the entire finished surface that is covered with protective plastic that you will need 30-60minutes of your life to peal away. So far the fridge seems to be doing the job, it's nice and quiet and looks great the only downside seems to be it doesn't auto defrost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super cute We have only had the fridge for about 2 weeks but so far we love it. It’s on the small side as expected but it’s perfect. We are a family of four and while waiting for the fridge our current one was broken. So we had already adjusted to small fridge space. But it’s a bonus. We don’t waste any food at all now. Where as before we would fill a regular sized fridge and waste so much food. I’d much rather go to the store for fridge items twice a week then spend it all at once and not use up before it had gone bad. Absolutely love the retro look. Shipping was a bit on the crazy side and had a couple bumps in the road but Home Depot was so good with us. When the time comes we will be definitely switching out our current gas stove for the matching one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cool fridge! We just bought this fridge for a log cabin. It is perfect! Cool retro design, small footprint, lots of space compared to the apartment sized fridge it replaces. The drawers in the freezer are very handy, and having the main fridge at eye level is very convenient. Cooling and freezing compartments work well. The unit is quiet and very energy efficient. The only concern is having to make sure no food touches the back wall, where it will freeze. The instructions indicate this area needs to be kept clear for air circulation.

(Smeg and Big Chill out of reach.) It is a great looking, small, yet just right for two people. The only reason it does not get a 5 is it was dented in the sides on arrival and hard to track where it came from.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty Cool But The Condensation It is pretty cool. The color was awesome!! A couple of friends saw it and it was the focal point of conversation. The problem was the condensation in the back of the fridge. I called Unique and the representative said it shouldn't happen. He then admitted that some do, but most don't. We had ours in the garage. We only had it a week and returned it. But we are going to order another one in hopes we don't have the same issue. On a positive note, when the fridge arrived it was the best packed appliance I ever seen. I was very impressed. 5 stars to packing and shipping.

Lots more storage room then I expected. The quality and finishes are quite nice. Cools and freezes well..very quiet. The fridge itself is very stylish, inside and out. Retro and modern. Beautiful colour. You will have to use the little scraper that comes with the fridge as it is a manual defrost. My friend bought one as well and he loves it.

Takes up MUCH less floor space than a standard (US) size, and the lost interior space is pretty much equal to all the dead space in the back of the standard-sized refrigerator that I rarely used anyway. And the cherry on top? She's BEAUTIFUL--more like decor than an appliance. :-D

Is this fridge manual defrost? So it builds ice like in the old fridges?!

Yes it is manual defrost, but it is so energy efficient that frost doesn’t seem to build up. We haven’t defrosted since we bought it in June 2021.

Is the plug at a right angle or is it a more standard straight out plug? i.e. if the outlet is directly behind the fridge will the plug contribute significantly to the depth of the fridge from the wall?

The plug is a straight out standard one. But the fridge should have an air space behind it anyway so it doesn’t interfere.

Hi - Can you tell me if the door opening is fixed or is it possible for me to change it? For example, in the picture, it appears to open from left to right. I would prefer it to open the opposite way. Can this be changed by me (like many other appliances)
