Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good little fridge efficient and cold. We live off the grid and this our main fridge for the past 2 months. Goods is it is a good size and has a small freezer as well that really is super cold. Bads is the thing is mostly too cold and somewhat difficult to keep at a even temp. Also have to watch wind for blowing out the flame. Overall happy with it. Would recommend this.

Can it be used without electricity?

Asked by: Julie
Yes you can hook it up to propane and it uses minimal. We plug in at home and use propane on the go.

What is the exact width of the fridge without the handles on the sides? I would remove the handles to fit into available space.

Asked by: NM01
Our Unique 3 cu/ft Propane fridge is exactly 20.6" wide, but you need to account for an additional 0.5" on each side for a handle. However, those handles are removable if need be.

Can the fridge be vented to the outdoors, so it can be inside a cabin

Asked by: James
I have a off grid cabin and I live there full time. I have this fridge inside my house and it doesn't need to be vented outside at all. This unit is very great and work perfectly and we couldn't live without it. No issue whatsoever and in average it take 1 20lb propane tank a month. I wish it was a bit bigger but for this price you won't find a better product. I looked for a long time and still am but so far it the one I recommend. Very satisfied customers. Look for deals st costco and they will have to price match and add a extra 10% off. That is what happens in my case. Good luck

I have an off-grid bunkie which I would like to put thid product. I am interested in knowing what propane sized cylinder would be best used, a 1lb or 20lb? And should it be located inside or outside the building?

Asked by: Qtim
This fridge isn't really designed to be installed inside of your building it is designed to be run in a well-ventilated area typically outside and propane tanks should never be brought into a living area they should always be installed outside
