Rated 5 out of 5 by from Energy Star Retro - Perfect Just received my new retro bottom mount fridge, with Energy Star, which was a key feature in buying the unit plus the additional features with steel handles, adjustable glass shelves and a wine rack! Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love, love the fridge more than I thought I would.... Love, love the fridge more than I thought I would. I have three people in my family and it is a perfect size. I was worried it would be too small. It does cool a bit unevenly. Cold in back, warmer up front, but that doesn’t bother me. We are a very simple family.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Retro 21.6-inch Bottom Freezer Refrigerator Sexy fridge! Would compliment most any kitchen (or perhaps the man cave!) Purchased this fridge mainly cause it was one of the v few (in its price range) that fit the narrow dimensions of my bachelor apt. It's aesthetic quality is not a that of a 5K refrigerator - but this isn't what I paid for it..so am quite happy all in all. V quiet appliance. Works great too! note: the freezer does NOT have auto-defrost: a minor sacrifice, as this contributes to its great ratings in energy efficiency..(the owners manual suggests a defrost only twice per year)..(a v simple process too!).

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Condensation Inside, Small Freezer I have a small galley kitchen and wanted an attractive fridge that wouldn't be overbearing. In this respect, it fits the bill. Three things that really turn me off about this fridge: 1) The depth of the freezer is less than the depth of the fridge. Meaning I can't store very much in it. I wasn't aware of this when I made the purchase. 2) The huge in-your-face UNIQUE logo on the door - I knew it was there when I bought it, and really had to think hard about whether I wanted THIS fridge because of that. In the end, price won. But I will be trying to figure out a way to remove the logo. It's the first thing I notice when I look at the refrigerator. 3) Most importantly, there is now a major amount of condensation in the refrigerator. I've never experienced this in any of my previous refrigerators, and I don't know if it is normal for this fridge or not. I had the temperature dial set on 5 after initial cool down. When I discovered the condensation, I set it on 4 to see if that makes a difference. More water this morning than yesterday. This morning, I set it on 6. We'll see what happens. Note that my average house temperature is about 70 degrees, it is autumn in Northern California and we are not having particularly humid weather. If temp and conditions outside of the fridge are the reason for the condensation (I don't know if they are - there was nothing in the trouble shooting guide about it), I hesitate to think how it will perform in the summer or during the rainy season. I have had this fridge for about 2 weeks and am considering returning it if water remains an issue. All this being said, I was unprepared for how little this fridge actually holds (my fault), so I will be keeping my old fridge in the garage so I can store more items in it. In terms of retro refrigerators, this is the least expensive I could find in my needed specifications. But the fact remains that $950 is still a LOT to pay for a refrigerator, even if the cost of some other refrigerators IS the price of a used car. At minimum, I would expect not to have the condensation issues I am having.
