Purchased this fridge mainly cause it was one of the v few (in its price range) that fit the narrow dimensions of my bachelor apt. It's aesthetic quality is not a that of a 5K refrigerator - but this isn't what I paid for it..so am quite happy all in all. V quiet appliance. Works great too! note: the freezer does NOT have auto-defrost: a minor sacrifice, as this contributes to its great ratings in energy efficiency..(the owners manual suggests a defrost only twice per year)..(a v simple process too!).

I needed a fridge that would fit in my ‘kinda tiny house’ in a 24 x 26” space. As a single empty nester - I don’t need a huge beast. I love this fridge. Websites sell this fridge for double. Downside: Home Depot delivery wanted to leave it at curbside on a day when I wasn’t there. And refused to bring it up steps to door. Thankfully it’s only 130 lbs or so and I was able to do alone!

The red is such a beautiful colour and immediately draws everyone's eyes. We have received so many compliments and comments from friends and family. The wine rack is a great add and the fridge is extremely quiet. Extremely happy with this purchase. Well worth the money!

Is this Retro 21.6-inch 9 cu. ft refrigerator frost-free?

No, and frankly it's a disaster. For the better part of two years we've had alternating frosting/ ice build-up, then pooling water, from the back of the fridge, and heavy ice build-up of the freezing plate at the top of the freezer section.

We would still not recommend leaving our Unique Retro Fridge outdoors as the elements will differ depending on where you are in the US, from extreme winters to extreme summers which will effect the energy consumption and temperature levels.
