With an LED Edison style bulb (not included) in the fixture it puts off very nice light [check the specs before purchasing a bulb as it is not a standard medium base for the bulb].

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Like the rustic wood look [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Brown Teardrop Pendant Light, 1-Light Rustic Wood Farmhouse Black Island Mini-Pendant Lighting with Seeded Glass Shades by Uolfin. This is actually the second of this style of pendant light that I’ve gotten and there are some differences between the rustic wood and the brass/gold, just in case you’re looking for the exact same look in a different finish. This one (the rustic wood) has a heavy black cord and no threaded pipes. I actually like the look of this one better and the wood look seems to better suit the “farmhouse” design. The seeded glass shade is a good shape and the large opening at the bottom makes it easy to screw in a bulb. The brass/gold light came with a glass cylinder in which the bulb is encased, that is no longer true of that style and the glass cylinder is not included with the rustic wood model. (Also, the website for the brass/gold model has been updated to reflect the threaded pipes as opposed to the “chain” previously mentioned).

While i like the look one of the lights i got had a crack on the rim, another one had way more bubbles in the glass than the others, and the black cord it hangs from is crimped so it doesnt look clean and straight. Overall they are okay.

If we want to add black downrod over the cord are there threads so it can screw into top of pendant?

Is it possible to get these pendent lights with regular glass not seeded. The chandlier looks as if it is regular glass and the matching pendants are seeded. I would want them both the same if possible.
