Rated 4 out of 5 by from great stove for the money. but keep your expectations in line with what you are paying First, i love this stove. I needed a quick, affordable replacement for my 16 year old stove that was worn out from heavy use. This may not last forever, but it was $800. If you want a $2000 stove, go spend $2000, not buy an $800 stove and complain. That said, for the price this is fantastic. It heats well and is pretty easy to use. Lights well enough if you have a good chimney. Turning it down all the way often results in the fire being unsustaining or so cool that it generates lots of creasote. Too high and it overfires pretty easy. It has taken me a while but im getting to learn the sweetspot in the middle where i can set it and nit have to keep babysitting it. There are a few things buyers need to know 1) the stove is NOT madenin the US. If you though it was at this price you need to look hard at your expectations. Its made in china. And is made reasonably well. 2) it is bolted down to the pallet. Not rocket science, but just helps to knownin advance. 3) blower is NOT on a thermostat. Mine doesnt even shut off, just low to high on the dial that is BEHIND THE STOVE. Not very practical, and honestly not effective enough to loose much sleep over. Save the money and just put a small 8” or 10” floor fan blowing on it. 4) the air control had lots of debris from sandblasting the stove during manufacture. The plate wouldnt slide AT ALL. I’ve seen several reviews dinging the stove for not having a functional air control. I think this is allnit was. If you take the bolts out, clean it up and reassemble, it works great. Remember, you buying a cheap stove. Some assembly required is pretty resonable. 5) my glass got VERY blackened after the first several fires. Even when burning mostly hot. Very very hard to clean. After a while though, it started behaving normally. Stays clean if i dont smokenit all up. Not sure why so much trounle in the beginning but it felt like it had a coating on it at first and nownit seems like normal ceramic glass. Just have patience and get a razor blade to clean it. Hope this helps. Enjoy.

Fan not as strong as I expected, and will have to design and buy extra parts to get it attached to the existing fresh air intake for mobile use. Note the the recommended fak does not contain any parts that actually connect to the stove flange, which is basically just a hole.
