Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work really fast. 15 minute work time might be on the surface of the moon. If you mix it for 2 minute, it will already almost be set up. Mix fast for 30 seconds, and work fast for two minutes is more like has happened to me. It was really hot outdoors also so that likely played into it, but be prepared. Great product to repair the beginnings of wood damage at a post and rail of the fence, I'll stain it and it will be good and solid for many more years and keep the water away. Mix 50 to 1 like they say or it hardens faster. Start with 50 grams of stirred product to a gram of hardener and try some. You can sculpt it as it hardens, sand it later, fun to work with except for cleanup. Cut the inch high bottoms off of a yogurt style plastic tub to mix in and discard. Mix and weigh with a wooden craft stick. Deadly smell. Enjoy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Huge Fan Im a huge fan of this filler vs. the grainy wood filler that crumbles out. This stuff smooths really well. Difficult to sand once its dry so just make sure to get it smooth while working

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Sets way too fast, chips easily and hard to sand The instructions say that you have 15 min to work with, but the mix clumps to an ungodly mess within 3 min, and I was pretty sparse with the hardener. Even the paste that I manage to apply to the surface chips away easily when set. This makes it extremely difficult to sand, as small amount of pressure will cause small chunks to flake. Just terrible...

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unusable Opened the day I purchased it and it was almost impossible to mix with the hardener because it was so thick. Ended up not using it. Tried contacting the company but never heard back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great for killing pets and testing your character! I bought this to fill in the knot holes in pine flooring. First off, kiss your pets goodbye before you open the can and unleash the fumes. You will probably survive, but expect mild brain damage. You have to mix the filler and hardener at 50:1... you also have to guess what 50:1 is. It's harder than you think... a bit of a roulette... but after multiple attempts you might get lucky... Good luck! My first batch was obviously excessive with the hardener as it was rock hard in about 45 seconds and got so hot it burned a hole in the floor. I had a nice hockey puck for a souvenir. The mixing cup was also kinda useless at this point... I guess it's a one time use. No problem... I ate a vanilla yogurt and rinsed out the container for round 2. I cut back on the hardener this time and had no problem with working time to fill my holes. But since this stuff has the consistency of molasses it's pretty hard to apply. Best to smear it over the good wood and sand off after it sets... apparently in 15 minutes. I left it until the next day since I was busy watching reruns of Beverly Hills 90210 with my kids. Apparently I cut back on the hardener too much. 24 hours later I fired up the palm sander and clogged up the sandpaper immediately. It was like sanding pine sap. I must have been 60:1 on my hardener/filler mixer. I'm kinda irked at this point, but not a quitter. I spent a day scraping the uncured filler off the floor, Sure, I gouged up my pine floor in the process, but I got a lot of it off and some of it just popped out of the holes. Now I get to start again.. yes the floors are all messed up now, but it's only been 2 days and just the third batch of filler. I have to say, third time really is a charm. I nailed it! Same old molasses consistency smeared all over my floors, but this time it hardened up really nice. Now I just have to sand it down and the good news is, this stuff is sandable. Well, maybe if you have a diamond coated granite polisher. With a palm sander and regular sandpaper it's like trying to sand a ceramic tile. Another day of hard work and 40 sheets of sandpaper later, and my job is almost done! Just have to stain it and I'm ready to apply the top coat. I dabbed the stain on the knot holes with a small paint brush. The stain just pooled in a little puddle and refused to soak in. Ok, can't rush this process. A few more episodes of 90210 and back to check in the morning. Good news... the stain has dried! Bad news... it didn't soak in and just kind of evaporated. The dark brown is a pale grey. 4 days of work, 2 dead hamsters and a blotchy looking floor. You might want to try a different product. Seriously, despite the poor sandability and stainability... the 50:1 mix ratio is so hard to pull off. This is a very difficult product to work with. Good luck!
