Rated 3 out of 5 by from Non-Standard Connections This is a very sharp looking faucet. Unfortunately my contractor discovered that the hose connections are non-standard, and Home Depot was unable to sort the problem out. He had to go to a plumbing supply store, and has managed to jury-rig something to work. Check the box and/or the fittings to save yourself multiple trips back and forth to the plumbing aisle. Not actually hooked up yet, so I can't comment on functionality. (I would suggest that if you are going to make something that is non-conforming, you should supply the bits required along with the product. It needs some kind of fitting like for a dishwasher?)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from In case anyone else has this problem I received this beautiful faucet and had it installed and there was no water that would come out of it. I called vigo and they sent out a new cartridge, I replaced that and still no water. Called Vigo again and emailed and they sent out another Cartridge. Prior to receiving the second cartridge I received an email step by step on how there is a check valve inside the black hose where I attaches to the bottom of the faucet. I removed the check valve that apparently can stick and it’s worked great ever since. I still have a few drops that come from the handle after a couple uses but this is a heavy duty faucet and is beautiful in my kitchen and is now functioning so I can enjoy

Anyhow, i'd never installed a faucet before and our situation is pretty awful - its almost impossible to access the underside of the faucet owing to how the sink was installed. despite that, the faucet itself was easy to deal with and i have no complaints. Previous faucets in this same spot were Grohe and another such well known brand. Both of those failed after a while - in fact the original one was replaced by the retailer with the Grohe, and that eventually failed as the pul-out hose started leaking after a couple of years. The VIGO looks to me like it will last !

We installed the sink and the faucet but the faucet doesn’t work brand new out of the box. The cold water works but nothing happens when you turn it to hot (the water just stops running). Tested out water lines and they are fine (they’re also brand new). Contacted customer service and they have us some troubleshooting options which were unsuccessful. They asked for a video of the faucet not working and our receipt. We provided both to them and they’re still giving us a hard time. They want to send us parts for the faucet rather than replacing what is obviously a defective faucet. We shouldn’t have to take apart a brand new faucet and play around with parts. Absolutely ridiculous.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality and Design The only good thing about this faucet is the looks. The quality is poor - during first week of use the hose got detached from the spray head. Construction of the faucet seems to be very flimsy and requires delicate operation. I was able to get replacement parts under warranty after contacting Vigo multiple times. It took 10 days to receive the parts. Will see how long the faucet lasts this time. I would strongly recommend against getting this faucet. Investing in a better brand is worth it. Lesson learned : You get what you pay for.

It matches our decor perfectly and the sleek matte black design adds a little something extra and original to the kitchen. The packaging was very impressive, which definitely added to the overall impression of a high-end product. I wish I would’ve paid a bit more attention to the dimensions of the tap, we have an under mount sink so it’s quite deep, but the end of the tap still seems like it’s too close to the sink, making it difficult to rinse large dishes or fill tall pitchers or pots. Would’ve appreciated something with more clearance, but I’ll know for next time. I also wish the water pressure was a bit more, even after removing the optional water pressure reducer, we still find this tap has much less pressure than our previous one.

How is the water pressure on both the sink and sprayer. The water pressure is very strong in my apartment, so I'm hoping that it would stay the same upon installation. Is there a general PSI for the faucet?

How would you clean the coil from debris, is it removable?

Hi Edward, The spring coil of our Edison single handle pull-down sprayer kitchen faucet cannot be detached from the base of the faucet. We advise to use a mild detergent and a soft sponge or soft brush for cleaning. For hard water stains, you can apply 50/50 warm water and vinegar solution with a soft sponge. Leave the solution on for about 30 minutes to an hour before cleaning with the soft sponge and rinsing.
