Rated 5 out of 5 by from Winslow3 Frameless Bypass Shower Just love our new shower - We had no problem installing it at all. The only drawback is the shower head. It should be larger. We purchased a different on. Other than that is is great. Looks great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice quality hardware, a few suggestions This is the second Vigo shower system glass I've installed. I am always pleased with quality of the hardware. It looks great. I do have 3 suggestions to improve the product. 1. Instruction provided measurements are vague. I used a 36x48 Wedi shower pan with a 2 inch foam curb. This gave me about a 4 inch curb to land the glass on. I had to trim the Wedi pan to correctly fit the enclosure. Since the Winslow has both an outer fixed panel and inner sliding door, the provided dimensions don't give you a good idea what the inner, outer and center dimensions are. Wedi pans are $400 and messing on up is not an option. I wish Vigo would really give a detailed schematic for this $1000+ product. 2. Vigo recommends to have wood blocking in place to anchor the shower to. I did this for both of my projects. The problem is the screws they provide are too short. When you have a 1/2 inch substrate plus thinset and tile, the 1 5/8 screws are too short. Good luck finding 2+ inch stainless hex screws. 3. I had a hard time getting the enclosure to seal properly. What I found was water was making its way between the glass and the inside u channel of the seal strips. I had ro run a bead of silicone between the glass and strip in addition to the bead between the seal and wall. Overall, I like Vigo products and would recommend them to others.

This being the first installation I had done I was a bit nervous about the details but it went just as it was supposed to. Definitely a two-person job as they state in the instructions. Looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I needed First let me say it's beautiful and works smoothly. Our contracter had no problem installing it. Second, customer service is fantastic! The first shipment of glass arrived shattered because of the delivery driver. I contacted Vigo and they sent a replacement out immediately. Very friendly and accommodating.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great look! Great quality! Purchased this for a recent bathroom remodel and we are very happy with it! Easy install and looks awesome! There’s only 2 small negative things I can say about it. One that it didn’t specify what size but to use for the wall and floor anchors (I used a 1/4” bit that worked well). Second is that it’s a very fine balance to getting the door to stay in place once it’s moved to whatever spot you open or close it to. If there Was some way you could add a little resistance to the rollers that could help. but anyways despite those small issues I would recommend this to anyone!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks Amazing The finished product looks amazing. We've had so many compliments. The thickness of the glass and smooth rolling door are especially nice. Installation had a few hiccups along the way due to directions that I didn't understand clearly enough but nothing that was really bad. Definitely caulk the edges of the clear weather-stripping as recommended otherwise water drops tend to get inside and run out the bottom.

What are the measurements of the drain location?

The drain location would 12" x 12" from rear corner of the shower.

What is the distance of the drain from the wall

12 inches  https://www.vigoindustries.com/media/pdf/shower%20bases-guidelines.pdf The Base Model measures 36 x 48 and the specification is under base model number    VG06019XXX3248 In this case right hand side.

The drain location says 'centre', however I need to know if this is centre of pan, or centre of pan to one side. My floor joists directly under this 36" width, so if drain is to one side it will work. Can someone provide actual drain location? Thx

Hi Paul, this model VG6051STCL48WR includes a right drain base, not a center drain. It is also sold with a left drain base which is model VG6051STCL48WL.
