Rated 3 out of 5 by from Wouldn't do again More than half or them died with three looking less than healthy when they arrived. I'll give the benefit of the doubt for the others that looked healthy when they arrived despite my having them in root simulating diluted liquid and planted with a mix of existing soil and fresh gardening soil. Over all I'm sorry I chose these for our privacy fence.

How tall do the Emerald Cedar trees grow?

Normally this easy to grow Evergreen can be kept at 1.5-1.8 meters (5 – 6 feet) or reach a height of 6 meters (20 feet) and have a spread of about 1.2 meters (4 feet). But, mine all died, so they stayed the same height.

I was interested in planting these at the front of my house, but with a north facing house, the front area only gets minimal sun in the later afternoons/evenings. Would this shrub survive with minimal sunlight? Thanks!
