The bags are a little smaller than some bags of mulch, but the price is good and I have purchased this mulch for the past few summers because it's natural. In our city, I have only found one other store who offers natural mulch (as opposed to dyed red or black) so it's great that HD carries it. Pleasant cedar smell.

What should have taken 5 minutes to dump the bag and spread, turned into 45 minutes of picking out all the large chunks of wood, (some 6" long) so I could properly cover the area. I would say roughly 1/3 of the bag was these large chunks.

Also, I bought this mulch specifically because it is supposed to aid in repelling insects. I see flies, bees and other bugs all over my plants! It almost seems like it attracts rather than repels bugs.
