Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing, easy to use product! This product was amazing! We have a driveway & back yard with chipped gravel topping over terrible, rocky soil and I wanted to have flower beds beds on either side of the pathway between the house and the shed and in the back yard. I marked out the path, planted the plants (which was such a chore in the terrible dirt I was grateful for the no-dig edging), installed the edging and filled the beds with mulch. I put in 120 feet of this product (making 5 flower beds) plus all the plants and mulch in about 8 hours. My only two tips are to bend the edging the opposite way it was packed so it's easier to work with and buy an extra bag of spikes. I on the areas that I did curved or fancy shapes, more spikes were needed than for the straight/slightly curved areas.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Looks good but too flimsy for our weather I liked the idea of edging our lawn with this as it's not as bulky as some edging, but one Pacific Northwest winter caused a lot of it to heave and warp. I don't think it's substantial enough to keep the spikes from being moved by frost and rain-saturated soil. I even used additional galvanized spikes to try and keep it in place. Too bad.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to install I looked at other landscaping edging but for me this was the easiest and reasonable, it was easy enough to install by myself I would have given it 5 stars but they need to include more spikes with it, I had to buy extra packages I would use it again

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More nails needed. Easy to trim, and bend. Not enough nails for curved gardens. I purchased 9 inch zinc nails for a better more stable fit

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good edging Easy to install. Put some edging in last summer and completed thd balance of the flower beds this summer. The only issue is that some of the anchors need to be pushed back in as the frost pushed them out, but not a big deal. Would be nice if they included more anchors, but you can buy extra packages.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Invention We used all 60 feet of this edging and it was amazing! We put in over a very tricky area that had tree roots just under the surface and never had any issues in creating our new garden feature...which we call our River Rock island. The edging was just a perfect solution to produce a straight or curvy border, just gave us the freedom to be creative and no back breaking digging needed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product The no-dig Edging is an excellent product. I used it not only on my garden edges but also for gravel edges and along the edge of my driveway. Very good product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quick and easy Super quick and easy for border. Cut with garden shears. Only thing that might make it better is if it were a bit higher.

Does this product ( Vigoro No dig 60ft edging) include all the stakes for the holes or do i need to buy extra?

Asked by: Alyssa16912256
The edging kit includes enough spikes for a typical installation. Since all installations are different, we recommend taking into consideration the shape of your garden as well as the soil type. We do not recommend using a spike in every tab. This will restrict the plastic edging from moving with the soil during freeze-thaw cycles and result in wavy edging.

Could this be used as a barrier between a lawn and an ashphalt driveway which would be filled with a few inches of decorative stone. Just to prevent stones from getting onto the grass.

Asked by: Matty
I used this landscape edging to form a barrier between different coloured decorative rocks and between decorative rocks and grass, and it works great! We have rocks in a moderate-traffic area of our yard and while the odd rock will get onto the grass when people are walking through the area, this edging does a pretty good job at forming a barrier. I would recommend picking up some extra stakes to keep the edging more firmly in place.

Can this Vigoro No-dig edging roll be used for paver stones edge?

Asked by: Franklyn
Hi there Franklyn. Some customers use the Vigoro No-Dig Landscape Edging as edging for paver stones, but we have not directly tested the product for this use so we can not recommend using it as paver edging. Thank you for your question, we hope this helps.

Will the string trimmer damage the edging?

Asked by: Kthreads
Thank you for the question. When trimming the grass around your plastic edging, we recommend only using a string trimmer. When used properly, the plastic edging can withstand a string trimmer for many years. We do not, however, recommend using a trimmer with a metal blade. Metal blades will cut the edging. Happy landscaping!

Can I create a right angle with this product? Is there a right angle coupler available?

Asked by: Steve B
Hi Steve, We do not currently offer a corner connector for the No-Dig Landscape Edging. The best way to create a right angle would be to cut the edging and adjoin each piece at the angle you need, securing both tabs in the ground with an anchoring spike.

Hi there, can I cut this landscape edging?

Asked by: mecrph
Good morning! Yes, you can cut the No-Dig Landscape Edging. You can use serrated garden shears or a hand saw to cut the edging between the tabs. When using cutting tools, we always recommend using safety gear including safety glasses and safety gloves.
