Rated 2 out of 5 by from The 'kinkiest' hose I've ever owned Bought this to try and have a longer-lived hose so that I don't have to keep replacing mine all the time. It may last (though I doubt it) - I've only had it a few months, but it kinks constantly. I have never had a hose that is so bad for kinking. I don't understand the problem with it, but it doesn't matter if there is water in it or not, it kinks. As soon as you get rid of one kink, two more show up. My guess is that it will split more quickly than other hoses because it has permanent kinks and creases from kinks in it already (three months of use). I would look elsewhere!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Broke after 2nd use Bought this hose yesterday. Spent 4 hours watering my newly seeded lawn. Today when I turned on the water, the rubber hose blew off the female end. The rubber hose has NO clamp on the end that connects to the metal female connector. There is only a plastic handle over this connection ! A total disappointment Will return this product to Home Depot and look for any other brand.

Had to stretch it out fully down the driveway and someone had to keep untwisting the kinks while I rolled it up on the spool

We needed a long hose for our front yard to get around the side of the house to water the garden and this one has been perfect. This hose is much lighter than any others I have used and I absolutely love that it is kink resistant, no wasting time getting all the kinks out or twisted around itself! We live in Texas and it gets really hot so I am thankful it can withstand really high temperatures. We have used it multiple times with our power washer and it has worked great. It is very well made and heavy duty. I love this hose and highly recommend it for your home!

If there is the slightest twist you can barely walk with it without it kinking. Wherever it kinks, it leaves a permanent crease, so now it will kink there easily again. They should be embarrassed to call this a rubber hose, anyone who has used ones knows how well they perform. I was mislead to think this was a rubber hose. I wish I listened to the other 1 star reviews. This truly is 100 feet of pure trash.

Everything looked great from the diameter, weight, warranty fittings etc. I excitedly opened it up and loved the weight for such a long hose. Hooked it up to my spigot then to my sprinkler. That’s when I was greeted with utter disappointment. The place where the threaded fitting is attached to the hose leaks like a sieve. What junk!!!!!! Going back tomorrow.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Faucet Connector! The faucet connector is awesome! Too bad that it is then connected to 100 feet of junk. This hose kinks more than a cheap nylon hose left in the sun for a decade. It is aptly named Viper though as you feel the venom for having bought this after your first use. I wasn't sure what the sturdy construction referred to but perhaps the packaging as surely it is not the hose.
