Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Lighting Provides enough light in daylight hours to never need an overhead light. One pair provided great light.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works as intended The skylight panels work as they are supposed to - they let in natural light so you can use your shed. I think these panels should have been included with the kit for free and its stupid that you have to pay extra for them. The fit and finish is identical to the regular panels as they are made by the same people.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good idea for extra light Would recommend at least one set (2 panels per box) for any Visions shed. We have the larger shed ( 9 1/2 X 8 ft. ) and found one box of skylight panels was adequate for its sunny location. Good, filtered light really enhances interior vision; more panels may be better for shadier locations. Panels and shed itself are of good quality and sturdy.

If I am planning to install my 9.5x8 shed opening Eastward, so the slopes of the roof are draining North/South, is it better to install the 2 panels on the South facing roof for maximum light? Both side have equal shade from trees. Thanks!

Asked by: mr_yellow
Our shed opens South, so the roof drains East and West. We had little choice in direction due to property limitations. We debated but decided to split the panels - one in middle of the East side and one on the West and the shed gets plenty of light even from the West, which directly faces an apartment building so western light is blocked to some degree. If your door faces East, it may be best to put both panels on the South side, given there is no natural direct light from the North; if there are trees on both sides, then South will likely give you the best available light. If you're still in doubt further, try emailing the manufacturer (Visions) in Ontario for their input; I found them helpful in responding to questions we had before buying the shed.

If it's 2 "panels" per box, does the product picture show a total of 6 boxes worth of panels? Or is a "panel" the equivalent of more than 1 extrusion? Thanks,

Asked by: mr_yellow
The picture shows 4 individual skylight panels that is equivalent to 2 boxes. Regards, Alex
