Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't trust the Warranty Bought this product in January and in July noticed that items on the top shelves were no longer frozen. Called the warranty number and was told that someone would come to fix it within 2-3 days. It took almost 2 weeks and 3 phone calls to finally be connected with the service technician. Then another 2 weeks and 4 phone calls to be told that all the replacement parts are on backorder. So they issued a "refund" cheque for less than what we paid for the freezer even though we submitted all of our original receipts. Worst warranty and terrible customer service.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Reasonably good quality for price. Bought this a few days ago. overall quality seems pretty good for freezer of this price range. It quiet and came to temperature quickly. I had taken it home in the truck on its back, so let it stand for about 12 hrs before starting it up. Seems ok. I also think its a nicer looking unit then others in this price range, so if you are keeping this in a visible area its a nice looking upright. I did buy the HD extended warranty for this appliance. normally i don't buy the warranty but I did because i am not familiar with Vissani. tried to register the warranty but couldn't do that, even with the assistance of the chat person at Allstate, they told me to try again in another 7 days? i guess its a good thing i don't have a claim. so i am not sure i could recommend buying the extended warranty.

Hard to find a smaller all fridge version but this unit is exactly what I was looking for to replace my old Danby 11 cu ft. This Vissani is convertible to be either a fridge or freezer! The digital controls are much better than the old Danby mechanical thermostat which was horrible at maintaining a temperature. Digital thermostat once set to desired temperature reverts to display current inside temperature which is great. The only unknown factor is the longevity of this brand, time will tell. I bought extended warranty so no worries for 5 years. My initial impressions are good and would recommend due to price and features.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolutely Garbage Where are these good reviews coming from? I drove 4 hours round trip to pick up this trash. It was on sale and the reviews were good. This thing is garbage. The cover for the hinge was cracked. The door doesn't seal properly at the top as the handle side is sagged down away from the hinge side. Once I put some weight in the fridge (water and pop) both of the adjustable feet pushed up through the bottom of the fridge. You can't put ANY weight in this thing as you can't adjust the feet. Pushes right through. So the feet are useless. I had to use pine boards underneath in order to adjust to level and slope it for the doors to shut. Shame on this brand and shame on Home Depot for selling it. If it wasn't a 4hr round trip I'd take this piece of trash back. It doesn't pay to buy cheap appliances. NEVER AGAIN.

It’s great that this model can be either a freezer or refrigerator. I’m not too familiar with the Vissani brand however, I understand it’s a brand exclusive to Home Depot. Initially after unboxing, the unit was levelled and plugged in. I didn’t make any changes for 24 hours. After the 24 hours, I decided to discover using the controls and made changes to the factory default settings. My moms intention is to use this as a freezer. The controls are very simple and straightforward. I altered the temperature and it’s your choice of selecting whether you would like your reading in Celsius or Fahrenheit. So far, the freezer is performing well. The fringe benefit to the upright design is that you don’t have to bend and you can easily organize items without having to search or dig deep. Love the LED lighting!!! Overall, I am happy with the purchase and hope that it will give many years of service.

They sent me directly to the company that made the freezer in China. I have heard nothing from them. Now the freezer runs so loudly that it wakes us up in the night. What a waste of money. I'm searching for e receipt to see if we can just return it. Purchased it as part of our kitchenreno to upgrade from a chest freezer. It looks nice, but it isn't the greatest quality.

Warranty is insufficient. I have ordered a replacement freezer, from a competitor who offers 5 years parts and in home service. Would love to upload a sound video of the noise this unit creates, but system is not allowing me to do it. Home Depot, you really need to do a whole lot better with your vendor selection.
