The range hood is silent on the lowest level, has an excellent extraction suction and the filters are easy to clean. The biggest bonus is that it looks great at half the price of similar products.

Sometimes difficult to turn off. Clock losing time. Unit will beep and then the clock and plus minus symbols flash for about 2 minutes. then repeats again. The fan turns on after third cycle. Called Home Depot and submitted my complaint. Now waiting for a reply from the manufacturer but they are in China. I had to unplug the unit. It would start up at all times of the day. Not a happy customer.

Their solution to this problem is replace the entire range hood. That is ridiculous!!!!!! It should be a simple replacement part. Totally unacceptable. If we knew that before we bought it, we definitely would not have bought it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Misleading advertising regarding noise level I was mislead when I purchased this product: This fan is very noisy, too loud to have a conversation over in the kitchen, and is much louder than the 2.5 sones advertised on the product webpage at home depot. When the aluminum filter is removed, there is a product sticker on the actual unit that lists the low speed (250CFS) as 4.0 sones, which seems more accurate. The high speed on the sticker is listed at 8.5 sones.

After having it installed I now have to change over the height of my exhaust duct and from rectangular to circular exhaust , or pay to have it Uninstaller returned and pay to have another one installed

Je l'ai depuis 5 ans et ça me prend une dizaine de minutes pour la nettoyer et en fait je n'ai jamais eu autant de facilité pour nettoyer une hotte. Son seul défaut, est qu'elle est très bruyante mais bon, rien n'est parfait dans la vie!

I purchased your Vissani 30" Chimney Style Range Hood Article# 1000860265 and my contractor installed it but has thrown out the box with the instructions. Can you please explain how to set the time on the clock? Thank you, Niki

Hi Niki. In order to set up the time on the clock, you have to press the power button for 3 seconds. Then the hour slot will begin to flash and you will be able to adjust the hour using + and - buttons. Once you have set up the hour, you have to press the power button again for 3 seconds. Then the minutes slot will begin to flash and you will be able to adjust the minutes using + and - buttons. Once you have set up the minutes, you wait for 3 seconds and the clock will be entirely set up. Hope it helps.

There's a symbol of 3 water droplets displaying to the left of the clock on my range hood. The 3 water droplets are stacked like a pyramid over top of a tray. What does it mean? My range hood has washable aluminum filters. I already tried washing them.
