Now, my son is coming from deployment and so I attempted to turn on my cute freezer so I can begin preparations for his coming home dinner and the Holidays to no avail. Very disappointed did not last a year with very little use.

I can see quickly if i need more product. Shelves are placed at reasonable heights. I use the top shelf for Ice Cube trays. I love that i dont have to bend over. Very practical and very appealing. Its also can be a fridge....exciting.

I think the simplicity of the design (no shelves on the door) helps ensure there is no issue with the seal, which is the problem I started to have with the old freezer after a time.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Freezer mode is good,Fridge mode bad for raw items Freezer mode works like a charm but the problems start when you enable the fridge mode. It does not get very cold on fridge mode at the coldest setting it hits about 5c, while my actual fridge is 2-3C and you must keep raw meats under 4 at all times to avoid bacterial growth which makes this kind of unsafe for food in the fridge mode. Good for drinks and less perishable things but would not recommend for anything else if you want this as a fridge

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Descent freezer Picked it up over a month now and it's very quiet, good interior space, glass shelves which can remove one for extra large items .. cooling coils are not exposed like other models i have seen plus the exterior dimensions are very similar to the 5 and 5.2 cu/ ft model offer on the market.. one draw back so far is the temperature dial once on the freezer section have to turn it all the way down or it would run continuously

I just bought one yesterday and its been plugged in overnight. It's not cooling. I don't hear it turning on or any of the normal "fridge" noises. Is there some kinda separate switch that is needed to be flipped or is this a faulty unit?
