Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not particularly easy to assemble, and we (and our electrician) had to go back and re-do the wiri... Not particularly easy to assemble, and we (and our electrician) had to go back and re-do the wiring and assembly more than once to get it right before installing. We used the included light kit, purchasing this particular fan for 3 main reasons: 1) we wanted a fan with an LED light that gave us the highest lumens level we could find (in this case, more than 1100 lumens in real world operation); 2) we wanted a fan that had a relatively high CFM since the space we have (a combo family room/ kitchen) is about 20 x 20; and 3) we wanted an all-white fan that was pretty but unobtrusive in the room. Modern Forms is one of the few manufacturers that tells you the actual lumens their fan lights produce in operation, and not just what the bulb or array is rated for. The array of this fan is rated at 1600 lumens, and generates 1142 lumens in actual use, according to the spec sheet. Other fans we looked at claim 1600 lumens but generate 800 or so in actual use. Still others only listed the bulb rating, but did not say how many lumens in actual use. This fan and light both work as promised, and are easy to operate with the remote control wall switch provided for dimming and fan speed control. It's very quiet even on high, and a good breeze even on low. We've owned it for about a week, and it does just what we bought it for - a room light in the middle of the room, to add to the other lighting we have, and a quiet breeze blowing when needed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Happy with my purchase I bought 5 of these fans and installed them. They’s so sheik Everyone who aees them comments on their elegant appearance. When on breeze mode, they literally create an air current in my house. They take me about an hour and a half to assemble, mount, and wire. Out of 5 fans, 1 had an issue with the control module. I called their support (which was fantastic) and they quickly shipped me a new module and an additional Bluetooth remote. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this fan again.

I would like to know why my review was not posted? Is it Home Depot's goal to not disclose to customers that this product has a known product issue that makes this product unsafe to use for anyone sensitive to blinking or flashing lights? The Modern Forms company is aware that this product creates a strobe light effect when both the LED light and the fan is turned on. The strobe light reflects on the walls and is extremely noticeable once you turn the fan on. The fan also creates a circle of light around the base of the fan fixture. Flashing or patterned light effects can make people with or without epilepsy feel disorientated, uncomfortable, or unwell. I felt dizzy and disoriented with this fan installed in my living room.The fan emitting light that reflects of the fan's glossy surface is a known product issue. You can view the product issue on www.youtube.com. Search YouTube for "Modern Forms Morpheus iii fan" to locate the product videos. I have spoken to the product development team at Modern Forms. The team is aware that issues exist with this product. The recommendation is that I remove the fans since I am bothered by the strange light the fans emit. The cost to me to install and remove the fans is $1,230. I strongly recommend you avoid this product and be very careful about purchasing products manufactured by the Modern Forms company. The company does not take complaints related to product safety very seriously. My opinion is that this fan should be subject to a product safety recall.

I think I installed the fan properly and even when its on high, I dont seem to feel the air movement. I tried reversing the direction and same

Does your team understand that this product acts like a strobe light? The manufacturer is aware of this product issue and recommends the product not be used with the light turned on. Your technical support team cannot resolve this issue because this is a flaw in the actual design of the product. WARNING: Do not purchase this product the product is defective as designed.

Hello, Thank you for your feedback. This ceiling fan is not defective and there is no flaw in the design of the product. Due to the gloss finish of the MW version of this ceiling fan, it can be reflective. In your particular case, you have installed this 60in ceiling fan less than 1ft away from your wall which is creating an excessive amount of shadowing. We recommend sizing your fan correctly for the room and application to prevent this issue.
