The Wagner FLEXiO 2500 paint sprayer applies coatings 8X faster than a brush, offering a consistent, smooth finish on a wide range of exterior and interior painting projects such as fences, decks, sheds, interior walls, ceilings and more. The X-Boost turbine delivers the power to spray unthinned paints and stains right from the can, including paints and primers, solid stains, sealers and more. Had to stop only once to clean the nozzle with the provided brush gave it a quick 2 minute clean and back to spraying I was using very thick latex paint I thinned it about 1 part thinner to 10 parts pain it was still pretty thick in the gun but it did spray in pretty good. I was surprised with how good it worked with the amount of poor reviews I think you just need some know how to use it. I’d buy it again and will use it again.

But I am am happy to report, I love this sprayer , it worked fantastic for spraying my ugly old stucco-ed ceiling, it was a little time consuming as i was spraying white on white,and i had to let dry overnight to see spots i may have missed but with the isolation going on now...it wasn't a big deal, i may have time to spray all the ceilings in my place now! easy to clean and assemble too

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Perfect, then pathetic. I bought this yesterday to paint my kitchen cabinet door with Behr cabinet paint. It worked great for an hour or so, then it started sputtering paint in blobs. I think this happens when you pause between sprays. I had to remove the nozzle assembly and wash it, which seemed to solve the problem. Still, I had to wipe the blobs on the door with a brush. Judging by other reviews this is a common problem, yet the manual does not address this in the Troubleshooting section. I suggest spraying on a test site before each use, or don’t buy this to play it safe. This sprayer can very quickly ruin your project.

I would had time to brush and roll my walls. I finally gave up and putting it in the box and returning it with the paint dried up in the unit. Cause its all it does

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Throw away tool I purchased the 2000 to spray my fence which worked well. I was diligent to clean and maintain for the next project. Started priming new DW today, the spray pulsed, I replaced the filters, filled the paint, cleaned the nozzle, consulted the manual.....4times and then gave in. I LOVE new tools, the right tool for the job and loathe poor quality. I spent far too much time managing the pulsing spray, cleaning, assembling, repeat. I do not recommend this product. Spend more on the right tool, just not this one.

The time you spend cleaning it, and everything else around what you sprayed (even if you put out a tarp) will be more than what you spent just painting it by hand. Horrible product that clogs constantly. It’s heavy and leaves an un-even finish. No matter how well you clean it (and I used paint thinner), you can’t completely disassemble the unit, and paint will harden in there, and then you’re F%#£

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No regrets. I recommend. I purchased this spray gun to renovate my guest bedroom and main floor washroom by myself. I followed all instructions carefully here is my honest opinion : 1. Slightly heavy for me to hold for long periods - but was worth getting used to it for the end result. 2. I tried to use the sample bag - it ended up wasting so much paint and also clogged the sprayer at one point. I will not use bag again. Clean up was much easier without the bag. 3. I followed manufacturers instructions and practiced as recommended - glad I did. End result was superb. 4. If you break from painting, be sure to remove nozzle/spout ONLY and give a good rinse/dry to prevent drying on paint on nozzle. Replace and use as normal. 5. I used Behr Marquee paint - worked beautifully. I used settings 9/10. 6. The ability to adjust the level of spray was great. 7. The only prep required prior to painting was making sure your floors were covered for any overspray. 8. A thorough clean up took me about 15 mins. I took apart all pieces of the nozzle also. 9. Only disappointment, I wish it came with the smaller model. But I did get it on sale. 10. I am one happy renovator.

Most household latex paints will spray well with the Flexio 2000 and the iSpray front end nozzle. For a finer finish you should add the Detail Finish nozzle, part #529013.

Can I use Tremclad type paint from the can? It seems to be very thick and sticky. If it has to be thinned to a certain level, what kind of thinner should I use and how much in terms of Ratio: Thanks!

We contacted Tremclad to ask and they don't have an answer. Apparently it will work with any sprayer set up. They are okay with thinning up to 15%. You can thin water based materials with water and oil based materials with mineral spirits. Use the same to clean up at the end of the project. Typically, 5% makes a huge difference and we suggest starting there. Also, there are a few things you can do to paint/stain to ensure it sprays well. 1 - Stir the paint/stain with a mixer in a drill until its creamy smooth, about 1 min per gallon 2 - Strain the paint/stain before it goes into the sprayer 3 - Add a flow agent, like Floetrol or Paint Easy (this is not a thinner) for latex paint – Penetrol for oil based 4 - Or you can thin, even as little as 5% can make a big difference, water for water based materials and mineral spirit for oil based material.
