Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not purchase I can not express enough how you should not buy this product. Shut off triggered daily for 9 days straight before I gave up trying to adjust water pressure and just bought a regular supply line for a quarter of the price. Nothing like having to go downstairs in the middle of the night to turn off your main supply line so that you can reset this product to flush your toilet. I rarely write reviews but this was a waste of 20 dollars

Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY this crap!!! This antiflooding thing caused flooding! You won't be able to fill the tank at any reasonable speed. It can trip any time without a noticeable reason and you will have to shut off the valve, detach the hose and reattach it again then turn the valve on. After few times your old valve is broken you you rush in the basement to cut off the water completely and then work on the problem while the whole family is without the water. Plus the water damage to your home!.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't get this hose Under normal water pressure, it will just cut off the water supply. You will be...lets say as a hypothetical, flushing your toilet, and it will just cut the water off. We have had this hose installed for 1 week and it has been nothing but problems. Turning the water supply off for 20 seconds does nothing, and it triggers continuously. You have to actually disconnect the hose and let it de-pressure to reset...and it will trigger immediately after. Save your time and your money.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Peace of mind It took a bit to set up the valve but I like knowing that if anything downstream of the valve fails that we won’t be flooded.

If you turn down the supply to reduce the pressure to prevent a nuisance trip, how can the device sense a burst line as the pressure cannot increase because you've turned it down?

Asked by: Chanimal
A minimum flow of 2.0GPM at the water supply is required for FloodProtect operation. You can turndown the supply, but not below that flow rate
