The Filter-Pure (UF3) is equipped with a unique swivel valve, in head, push button assembly.This allows for a simple and sanitary filter change that does not require you to turn off the water source to the system.This three stage filtration system is equipped with a stage 1 five micron Sediment filter that reduces sand, silt, sediment, and rust particles that may be in your water. Stage 2 is a heavy duty lead and chemical reducing carbon block filter (LVOC). This specially formulated block is capable of reducing lead as well has harmful Volatile Organic Chemicals (See performance data sheet for complete list of VOCs). It is estimated that VOCs are present in one-fifth of the nation's water supplies.
