I bought this for camping and it’s been perfect to fit in the car as well as not take up a ton of room on the picnic table, yet plenty of surface to cook enough food for 7 people at once! I had 8 burger patties and 5 jumbo hotdogs all grilling at the same time. Everything cooked evenly and tasted great. The only minor complaint I have is the knob is very easy to accidentally turn on the propane if you bump it while moving it and not realize. Twice I smelled gas after moving it and noticed the knob was turned on. I now just remove the propane tank when we aren’t using it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Even heat,won't blow out When it came time to buy a new bbq for my boat I had to choose an actual marine bbq or a webber q. So many times in the past I was disappointed with the uneven heat of marine bbqs, burners that rot out amd price tags that could get you into a full size grill. I'm go glad I decided to try a webber q. Even heat ,never blows out, great size for a family of 4, simple assembly, and a fair price. This little grill doesn't disappoint. I've told other boaters if weber made marine mounting options they would conquer the industry. The only down side to choosing this grill for a marine purpose is literally the fact you'll need to fabricate a mount, don't let that deter you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic little grill. I've always used a bigger grill in the past but the old one rusted out and it was time for a change. I was reluctant at first but ultimately wanted to find something I could bring with me camping, on road trips, and so on. This bbq exceeded my expectations of what a portable grill can do. Nice even heat, easy to control the temp, fast to get up to 500°, and surprisingly large cooking surface. My only gripe is the handle on the right (while facing the grill) is not easy to get a hold of due to the propane attachment and the temp control. This does not lower my rating mind you as this is a very minor inconvenience. It has replaced my backyard bbq and I won't be going back to the big ones anytime soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best BBQ EVER! I have wanted this BBQ for many, many years! It is the best BBQ I have ever used hands down. Unfortunately though my drip tray is stuck in the unit. I have reached out to customer service and sent a video of the situation. I cannot pull the tray out without bending it or scratching the base. NOT ideal as I cannot clean it. The until is brand new and this should not be an issue. The store I bought it from can't help me because they don't carry extra drip trays. I really hope that Weber comes through and that they send me a new one. I would have given 5 STARS but the try issue is holding me back. Other than the tray situation...THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST BBQ ON THE MARKET!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Small but mighty. We bought this because we never used more than half of our regular sized BBQ. Si we thought it made more sense to get a small one. It takes little space on the deck but does its job exceptionally well. We have the cart and an adapter hose for the 20 lb. tank. We took it camping with us and it was easy to transport and set up. Just screw the small tanks on and light it up. Within a few minutes you’re ready to go. Because of its smaller size and good design it heats up quickly. Although we will never give up on a campfire, it was easier to cook on. So now we have a BBQ that works at home and away. Love it.

The other model we tried was larger and significantly heavier than the Webber Q1200. The slightly smaller grill size and lighter overall weight was far more appropriate for our purposes. The bbq cooks well across the entire cooking surface with no major hot spots. As mentioned somewhere before, the right hand hold is very difficult to hang onto. This is because the mechanism where the propane bottle attaches is mounted to high and interferes with the hand hold. Overall we are enjoying the bbq and are very pleased with it. Only time will tell how it holds up in the long term.

When it was no longer working well there was no question as to its replacement. I have a small backyard with a patio and this BBQ is perfect. I also mostly cook for myself. It's compact, efficient and great quality. Love the addition of the thermostat. I also bought the blue one which matches my chair cushions! I just wish the stand was cheaper. It costs almost half the cost of the BBQ. I'm still going to use my old stand until I can get to the US where it's much cheaper.

We use it when travelling to Florida where we spend our winters, it so compact you can take it anywhere and cooks a meal for four people. At home we use if for our appetizer BBQ to supplement our larger grill when we have a crowd of people.
