Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy, Reliable, performing large personal smoker Reliable, high performing large pellet smoker. Have prepared my best meats yet (brisket, ribs, whole chickens)! Regulating the temperature is easy following some basics about starting with a clean ash bin, using the water pan, using the vents. I always start with openings at the size of a pencil eraser which keeps the smoker right at 220 and open it wide open for the last 1hr intense heat and get up to 260-290 temp.

Personally I've had 2 wsm's they are fantastic pieces of equipment, I do wish that Weber would sell more mods to all their products for those who wish to upgrade, for instance the 22.5 is a heavy piece of equipment, I understand from a safety stand point handle are not installed on the center piece, but it's bulk heavy it should have handles. At minimum sell mods with waiver clauses, and let the cusumer enjoy real weber made products, vs aftermarket mods. Please & thank you for hearing a loyal Weber customer as constructive criticism.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from New Smoker The smoker is hard to season. I also put on a lid hinge on my smoker. It is now pretty heavy when lifting to access charcoal area. It is also very hard to get and hold temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from New to smoking. I was a little nervous at first... New to smoking. I was a little nervous at first but I dove in and smoked a chicken for my maiden voyage. It was super easy and it came out incredible. The 2nd time I smoked our Thanksgiving turkey and again it was superb! Old school just works. The temps were steady and I had plenty of fuel left over. 3d cook was baby backs and again perfect tender and tasty. Looking forward to my first brisket and prime rib.

Everyone has great feed back but I need to know - at the cottage we generally put in 8-10 racks (cut in half) of side ribs. The old masterbuilt that we started with required 2 smokers to get this done. How many racks of ribs can I fit in here to do?

Hello, depending on how you arrange the ribs and how big they are, if they are cut in half, you could fit between 10 to 20 in our 22" Smokey Mountain Cooker. Thanks!
