Love having a temperature sensor on the the griddle. I can set it for just the right temperature. I love the variety of foods I can now cook. I hardly use my stove top anymore. I was worried about cooking steaks on the griddle but they turn out just fine and smash burgers are my new favorite style of burgers.

We use it almost daily and it has dramatically reduced the amount if time and clean up in our Kitchen. Also pairs nicely with our bbq. Heats up fast, takes some experimenting to manage temp in zones, quick clean up. Bought most of the accessories to go with it. Have friends with cheaper griddles - no comparison. Highly recommended.

The quality of the steel of this griddle is incredible. This is exactly what I what looking for years. I've tested several griddle, from all budget, and this is one of the best heat distribution you could find on the market. You don't have "hot/cold spot" unless you crank it the max. His ability to go down to 300 is practical to cook some item at super slow/keep warm. The thickness of the griddle is perfect to keep your temperature during cold days. It's really stable at - 10°C. The grease trap is greatly located. Super practical. The storage shelves with closing door are great add on. I could keep some stuff outside, without being dirty/wet. If you're looking for something that will last several year's, with small to no maintenance, don't hesitate and jump on this beast!! Enjoy life and enjoy your Weber!! What is the clearance from the bottom of the grill bottom to the top of a built in countertop

The dimensions for the Home Depot Exclusive 30" Slate are Lid Closed: 39.5" H x 70.8" W x 23.5" D and Weight: 146.19 lbs - Dimensions Lid Open: 50.2" H x 70.8" W x 26.4" D.
