Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light weight. Still runing Light weight. Bought it 5 years ago because I didn't want anything heavy for my back. I use it lightly once every 2 months or so but it is still running

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The lightest most powerful blower I've owned! I've had two of these in the last ten years. If you start it via the manufacturer recommendation printed on the side, it fires every time. My first one lasted probably seven years before I replaced the carburetor. It isn't as reliable any longer. I attribute this to ethanol in the fuel. When I purchased my second one, I filled it with that expensive engineered Tru-Fuel, the fuel that's ethanol free with stabilizer and the proper 40:1 fuel/oil mix. It runs like a champ on that stuff. I'm sure you could run regular gas with Sta-Bil and mix your oil, but for the weekly or less usage mine gets, it's very convenient. I recently got an 18V blower which is more convenient in the not-having-to-prime-and-recoil-start it, and don't-smell-like-exhaust aspects. But when it comes down to the power, the FB25 is my goto. The lightweight design, vibration dampening handle, fuel-sipping engine, and flattened blower tip really make this unit the perfect little package for my 3/16 acre tiny piece of sloping land. I would happily recommend this solid little blower to anyone.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hard to start Hard to start but once operational it does a good job. Spring supported handle is a good feature.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A pretty well-made and compact design. About a month ago, I found this same model blower sitting in a barn and decided to grab it and fix it. I work on and collect old abandoned equipment to sell, and this one was a good find. Apparently in the other reviews, people can't get the thing to run without the choke and are trying to send it into an actual repair shop. All you have to do is take the diaphragm cover off, take out the metering lever, and adjust the two forks with a pair of pliers. Replace it, run a ruler over the base of the carburetor, and it it is flush with the ruler, you're good to go. Otherwise buy a cheap $2 carburetor adjusting tool of eBay and you pretty much won't have any issues. Anyways, it is a breeze to take apart and put back together, everything is well-made, and it is quite powerful being 25cc. It is incredibly light too, which is a bonus. It works great for getting into enclosed areas, which is good for my dad since he likes using blowers to clean out our boat. I didn't need it so I sold it for $50, and got a much older but much bigger Weed Eater GBI20. I would recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't Pay Attention to the NEGATIVE Reviews! Don't pay attention to any negative reviews. People will often write a negative review if they have have a bad experience. But, very few will take the time to write a POSITIVE review. That's just the way most people are. I have had 4 or 5 of these FB25 Leaf Blowers over the past 10 years or so. Main reason I've had that many is because I ALWAYS keep two of every kind of gasoline powered machine. I have two mowers, two weed eaters, two edgers, and two hedge trimmers. You never know when one will not start properly. The main reason is because MOST people that use them don't properly service them and winterize them. Also, it is of utmost importance to always use FRESH gasoline and ALWAYS ad fuel stabilizer to your fresh gas. I believe that MOST people never even think twice when putting their gasoline powered machines up for the winter months. They should always remove any gasoline and start the machine and let it run until it runs out of gas and dies. This prevents the gas from "gelling" over the winter months. You cannot fault the equipment if you don't know how to properly take care of it. I can't say enough about all of the "Weed Eater" products that I have purchased over many years.
