Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice and Easy I really like the feel and style of this hand set. The inside handle is much better than the knob style that I previously had on my old set. The black looks very nice against the red door. I would highly recommend this set to anyone who is requiring a replacement. The installation was easy to follow. The set comes with a left and right handle so you don't need to worry about the orientation of the lockset.

is there an inside lock for the deadbolt

Can the orientation of the deadbolt latch be changed? right now, when the deadbolt is out (locked) the latch is vertical. I'm used to it being horizontal. It is installed correctly.

As far as I know the spindle or cam bar is a fixed shape key .. kinda like the letter "D" and it is keyed to the outer latch in only one way. So no it can't be changed. The actual door "handle" can change Left/Right but the deadbolt is fixed to be vertical locked.

Can this (latch and deadbolt) be installed to the right hand side door? If yes, how? Right now, my lock is on the right hand side door of the double door system.

The handle on the inside has a set screw that can be removed and the kit comes with an additional handle for left or right installations

For double doors are you able to take out the dead bolt on the one side and use one as a dummy ?  Thank you.!

I can't really see why you could not, you would assemble it normally but leave out the actual deadbolt/cam slot part. The unused deadbolt "Thumbturn" would still attach to the "Cam bar" but would spin freely. Perhaps you could also check with a Locksmith for a better recommendation as you maybe able to put in a blank plate in the unused key area deadbolt!

Handling says reversible. With the interior handle design, would it have to be upside down if placed on the right side of the door?

Two pieces are included in box.  The handle is easily interchangeable.  Once installed if you need to, simply remove the right hand and install the supplied left hand handle

Does the assembled height measurement measure from the top of the lock to the bottom of the handle or is that the length of just the handle?

The assembled height measurement of 17.47” would be the distance from the top of the deadbolt down to the bottom of the handle.
