Can this be installed with the deadbolt to the left or is it only to be installed to the right???

I installed my weiser smartcode lock everything works fine but the numbers are not lit up..cant see at night

To illuminate the touchpad, ensure the latch is in the locked position and touch the lock button to illuminate the touchpad.
