I do like the lumber rack but short boards won't fit because there isn't a backer. However the design execution is flawed. Because of where the wheels are, storing this is very clumsy and the stand will roll, or tip over. You're almost stuck storing this flat on the ground and in the way. The rollers and three plug power extension do not jive at all. The roller cannot go down all the way and will hit the power cord you have plugged in. You also have to wrap your saw's cable back around to plug it in, making this look in disarray. I'll be shopping around for something more useful and well thought out.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from WEN MSA330 Review Nice stand over all. I wish the slots for mounting the saw were a little bit larger to accommodate the larger mounting carriage bolts on my DeWalt DWS715. But I used the smaller holes on the saw and that worked out OK. As others have mentioned, the stand does not up by it's self when collapsed. Need to place a 2x4 to help support it. I did not like the idea of leaving the saw attached with the stand collapsed. Just did not trust it all staying put. The 3x electrical outlets were a nice feature, but unfortunately the end post for the roller gets in the way of at least one of the outlets. The price was right and the stand is plenty sturdy enough for my occasional use.

This miter saw stand was easy to assemble, but the design left room for improvement. The bolts provided to mount the miter saw were not large enough so I think supplying with at least two more different sizes would be helpful. The handle is obstructed by the conveyor roller so you have to move it out to be able to use the handle when taking the stand out. The legs assemble very easy although they can snap out of place. Once you've worked out the "bugs" the stand is very convenient and mobile. I especially like the outlets provided. It keeps the cord out of the way. I'd recommend this product, not to mention the price was very affordable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WEN Collapsible Rolling Miter Saw Stand with 3 Onboard Outlets is a great sturdy stand. The stand requires assembly out of the box. Once assembled it is very sturdy it will hold 330 lbs. It has 2 rollers that will adjust to the specific heights of the saw you use. The stand will adjust to 33" high. The supports can be extended to support 10.5 ft long. It has 3 15 amp outlets, 2-height adjustable rollers, quick-release brackets, 2-table extensions and a powder-coated finish. Great stand.

This and "The POWERTEC MT4000 Deluxe Miter Saw Stand with Wheels and 110-Volt Power Outlet", both sold here at homederpot.com, are exactly the same items. Everything but the color of the parts are the exact same. The colors and the price. Personaly, black and orange are better looking then blue grey and lime green. And it's cheaper by almost $10 to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WEN saw-stand: Handy essential tool for your crosscut and miter saws. Does the job solidly and well.... Framing-out a 2nd story. Many-many studs and headers to cut. Sliding miter saw on floor hurts my back; on plastic table it slides dangerously. And long lumber is awkward. Got this saw-stand. Stands sturdy. Supports both ends of lumber, adjustable for length, height, roller or end-stop. Steady enough to work with my sliding-miter saw. Has electrical outlets on-board. Flip-down hooks so your stock is handy and clean. Wheels allow you to drag it back to your truck easily. VERY pleased! The instructions are detailed except no list of tools. Round-up before you start: 6mm hex key, 1/2" or 13mm end wrench, 10mm wrench, large pliers, long Phillips screwdriver. The images on page 9 are quite blurry and should be re-done. The flip-clips which hold the saw-brackets to the stand need pre-adjustment; mine were much tighter than instructed. The leg flip-clips are uncertain-- they work but are fiddly and need coaxing. It is hard to get the 4th leg clipped. The handle is an excellent molding (they should sell this separately for other projects) but does not work well on this stand. The support bracket scrapes your knuckles. It works better to take the handle off and hold the support bracket. The other support bracket, when slid-in, smashes the plugs in the outlet. The outlet itself is good household grade, with separate cord, and overall not as rugged as I like. Minor details. Overall this is an excellent saw stand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wish I could choose "maybe" as an option for recommending this product. The quality of this stand is very nice; however, I can't use it because I need to remove my miter saw from the stand in order to store it vertically. That might work for some big strapping strong guy, but I'm a petite (and shrinking) strong woman who just doesn't want to expend her strength lifting a miter saw onto a stand any time I want to use it! And, the instructions for mounting the saw to the stand indicate the use of "M6 Carriage Bolts (short) or M6 Carriage Bolts (long)" - included in the mounting hardware? Well, it would have been nice if the short bolts actually were included because the long bolts interfere with adjusting the miter angle of my saw to its fullest extent. Guess I'll be working on a creative use for this stand, but it won't be for a miter saw!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have suffered without a rolling miter stand for a long time, instead opting to set up saw horses and planks for more adaptability on jobs. The WEN stand made it much easier to get the miter saw set up and ready for action. The legs drop down, lock in, and it's ready. Saw can even plug in to the included splitter. Should have ordered one of these a long time ago. Legs and base are very sturdy. I have been cutting 2x6x12's to frame out a shop wall, and the stand hasn't budged at all. The handles included for the detachable saw rails are located really well too - great for stowing your framing square when not in use. The rollers are a point of concern, though; the screw heads walk out during use and the roller falls out of the frame. Easy enough to fix with a bit of thread compound, but notable. Frames also don't stay up very well with heavier materials, unless you really crank down on the adjustment knobs hard. Shouldn't need to change the height of the rollers after you set it to match your saw's deck though, so a self-tapping screw through the tube should stop the travel. Pull handle is also in a goofy location - it bolts on right under the roller frame, so you can't actually use it for much of anything. Doesn't matter, really - just use the roller or frame itself as a handle. Definitely worth the price!

Does this fold up with the saw attached or must it be removed?

Asked by: FixxitRick
Yes, it will fold with the saw attached. But the saw+stand is a very awkward thing to move or store. The saw comes off VERY easy. You probably want to take-off the saw and put it away, then fold up the stand and put it away.

Can you adjust the bottom legs for uneven flooring
Asked by: Oss
One of the legs had an adjustable screw extension to help you level it out, it would have been nice if all the legs had this, but it still does the job.
