Rated 3 out of 5 by from Works fine but came with a big dent on the door I received the fridge in a perfectly new, pristine condition box but opened it to find the fridge door with a big dent. i tried to phone to see about returning it, but was on hold for so long, then I wrote a message to Home Depot then called again, tried for 2 days then gave up. Just too many things going on to return something during emergency procedure times... I cringe every time I open the fridge door.

IS THIS FRIDGE ENERGY STAR RATED?

Asked by: JERRY
I don’t recall seeing any Energy Star stickers on it, and usually there is something like that. I don’t really know for sure.

"Freezer" section in it freezes up full of ice, is this normal/common for these little fridges?

Asked by: MrH1325
When the fridge reduces to a specific temperature, it will stop operation and begin to defrost. If the fridge door is left open or the temperature is too low, the fridge will keep operating and fail to defrost. Therefore, please make sure that the door is closed well. Also, it is recommended to set the thermostat at 4, which is the most suitable temperature that keeps the freezer functioning. Basically, frost building up is a quite normal situation for all freezers. If there is too much ice, we highly recommend to power off the unit and scrape the ice from the walls with a wooden spoon or spatula. Remove the fallen ice from the floor of the freezer before it melts. DO NOT use sharp tools to clean the ice. Failure to do that may cause the evaporator leak which is dangerous.
