I bought this oven as my old one stopped working, and I don’t know why I waited so long. This stove is so nice, burners heat fast, then stop just as quickly when turned off. But the oven is fantastic. It’s large, large enough to cook an entire meal. I am so looking forward to baking Christmas goodies in half the time. My only complaint is the cooktop is difficult to clean and have found that it needs to be cleaned immediately to avoid trouble. Also the instruction booklet is very vague about its features. The steam cleaning feature is nice, but you still have to scrub after roasting or broiling. Still I definitely would recommend this cooker to anyone in the market.

I am quite happy with my stove but wish it had plug-in and that the oven light could be turned on with the door closed. This defeats the purpose of having a lovely large window on the oven door if you can't see inside when something's cooking. I love the extra large oven space with the three racks one of which is split level. Haven't tried the aqua lift clean function yet. This model has a nice clean look and all the functions are super easy to figure out. Overall, I'm very very happy with this model and hope it lasts for years without a breakdown.

We previously had the same model for 14 years as that of the range we just purchased, and simply couldn’t change to another Brand. We have historically been Whirlpool customers and will continue to! From overall design and performance to recommendations to others. We couldn’t be happier in supporting a Brand that continues to be so amazing. “No, we are not employees of Whirlpool, just very happy customers”! Don’t always shop by price, but compare the details of the glass top, heating elements, size of oven and overall weight to those other brands. Plus the curb appeal is just simply classy!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from dissappointed in this product I've had a lot of whirlpool appliances and so I bought another one when I had to replace my stove. Pros : burner sizes are good. Now for the parts that are no good: the stovetop ,edge of the stove gets too hot to touch when I'm using the oven, to the point I'm afraid to have the little people go into the kitchen when I bake. The oven temperature when using convection bake takes twice as long as it should. The stove top is hard to keep clean, looks old and I've had this stove since Aug.6.

The oven is large and the control explanations are very helpful. The convection fan is quiet and heats the oven evenly. The black 'Schott Ceran' top is very handsome however its blackness highlights smudges under range hood light. The light indicators for top units being on or/or hot are rather small and located between the knobs minimizing their significance. These should be larger and relocated in the middle between the 2 sets of controls This would make them more prominent. The larger oven makes the lower storage drawer rather small for anything but the flattest of items.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Works great, beware of glass cooktop stains After a lot of research I chose this oven that was within my budget. A friend of mine repairs appliances and Whirlpool was their top recommended brand in terms of longevity and ease of repairs. I’ve had it for about a month now and it works exactly as advertised. Love the large 12” burner. Nice large oven and the option to convect or not is awesome. It lost a star because the glass cooktop stains VERY easily - after the first use in the cooktop, I boiled water (nothing messy) and after the top cooled down, there were little spots all around the area where I cooked. Nothing would take them out (I mean nothing - tried different types of cooktop cleanser). It would shine right up but you can always see the spots. And of course it’s only gotten worse with more use. All kinds of spots on the cooktop all over that won’t come out. I care more about how it functions than how it looks so it’s not a dealbreaker for me but it may be for others. I’ve read others say this is the case with the cooktop too.

L’affichage des boutons sur le devant les rends très accrochant pour la moindre chose que l’on exécute, une caractéristique désagréable à laquelle je n’avais pas pensé. Pour le plus grand des ronds alors que le diamètre du chaudron convient parfaitement pour le rond juste un peu plus petit, ne convient pas et rend l’induction beaucoup plus lente. Bref, selon la note accordée dans la revue «Protegez-Vous », cette cuisinière était bien évaluée et pourtant, je ne la rachèterais pas.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not happy with convection I had a service tech come to measure the actual temperature because the convection bake times were taking far too long. We found that not only is the cycling causing uneven temperatures, unless your recipe calls for the exact time for at least one complete cycle (about 18 min) your average temp is going to be off. Worse, once the "preheat" stage is over and you put in your food, the cycle begins to drop in temp, so if you are baking cookies or anything else of a short duration, they won't cook within the regular recipe time as temps will be 25 degrees or more lower. My 10 min sugar cookies take 25 min to bake. Whoever came up with this "energy saving process" is short a few oven bricks. Regular bake seems to work, but if that is all I wanted, I could have save $300 and bought a basic unit.

Re: Whirlpool Model # YWFE745H0FS. Is the oven door transparent? In the picture, you can see everything through the door. Is it not tinted or is it lightly tinted and you can see everything inside? Does it have Cook Time feature and Sabbath mode?

Hi MM88, This range does have a sabbath mode located on page 10 is located on the Use and Care guide available on the Home Depot Website of the use and care guide, and a cook time feature on page 13. What dimensions does the storage drawer have. Is it 3, 4, or 5 inches from bottom of drawer to bottom of oven. Most ranges have tiny storage drawers now and specifications for the range don’t list storage area.

1) does the WHIRLPOOL #YWFE745HOFS electric range door have the "spring" feature? eg: can you open it 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and fully opened? or does it just drop to 90 degrees?

Does this oven have the ability to disable the convection setting / fan? Or can it *only* be used as a convection oven? Also, is there a baking setting for ''low'' fan convection baking (for wet doughs like cookies)?

Hi There, The convection fan may run in the non-convection Bake mode to improve oven performance. In regards to your second question, there is no specific setting such as low convection baking. However, you can refer to page 4 from the Owner's Manual where you find detailed information on Feature Guide. Is it Fingerprint Resistant?
