Rated 1 out of 5 by from The worst possible diushwasher I bought this because the reviews were good on home depot, but now I find those reviews suspect and I wonder if they are artifically bumped up. 1) Dishwasher doesn't clean well on any setting regardless is you add extra hot water or run it for a longer cycle 2) Has a known design flaw where the motor that turns the spray arm will just get stuck. the repairman from home depot told me this is a COMMON issue. You litterally have to get under the DW and when you hear the water start githe the bottom of the motor a tap and it shouldstart to work 3) Standard cycle is 3 + hours...realy 3 + hours, how much electricity does that use up 4) Dishwasher tub often has a funny mouldy smell even after a fresh cycle with a sani rinse option added

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Value Decent machine for the price. Quieter than my old one. Racks are well designed and can hold almost anything. Cleans well. Easy installation. Pros: Love the flatware on the door. Leaves lots of room on the lower rack No middle sprayer makes even more room Quiet Easy to clean filter Can accommodate large items Just enough cycle options Cons: Regular cycles take hours, but 1 Hr cycle works well Leaves water droplets on the walls and floor of the tub that don't evaporate in the dry cycle so.... If you leave the dishes in too long after clean, they seem to collect condensation.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great at cleaning the dishes, but man is it NOISY! Bought this dishwasher a few months ago and had it installed last week. This is the second time I'm running it, and I just had to come on here and write a review for other potential buyers... Beware! It's great at cleaning the dishes, but man is that thing noisy! The motor itself is pretty quiet, but you hear all the water moving around on the inside and it's just very poorly insulated. My previous dishwasher was a Bosch Ascenta, and if not for the move, I would've kept it. I'm not saying this product is bad, but if you're going to buy it, know what you're paying for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! We bought two of these, one for ourselves and the second for our rental house. Couldn’t have been happier. It does the job so well and the”any where basket” saves so much space to add more pots/ dishes. The spacing in the bottom rack is so apt, everytime we are at any friends place loading their dishwasher- I am like “Oh really your expensive dishwasher does not fit these in-mine does : ) ! Beyond satisfied!! P.S it’s been over a year that we’ve been using it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dishwasher for a great price I love this dishwasher. It replaced a GE unit, that was installed when my condo was built. This dishwasher does an AMAZING job cleaning my dishes, even using the 1-hour clean setting.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worked fine for 2 years then circuit board died We bought this dishwasher 2 years and 2 months ago. We paid to have it delivered and installed by Home Depot and even paid to have our old unit recycled. We did not purchase the extra 5-year warranty because our old unit worked for 15 years with no issues. One day, the unit started to fill the water in basin but the cycle would not start. I performed the basic troubleshooting checks in the owners manual and even did the error code checks in the installers manual, but when the error code check did not even work, I assumed it was a electrical component issue instead of a mechanical one. I called a local repair company, and after looking at the unit for 2 minutes and charging us $100, it was determined that one piece in the circuit board had died and that the whole circuit board needed to be replaced. I was quoted at $300 to order a new circuit board part. We were disappointed with this since we only used the unit maybe twice a week so we didn’t get much use out of the machine before it will need to be replaced. We are also disappointed because of the waste that this will produce because we will need buy a new machine because we don’t want to keep buying expensive parts and pay for labour to fix a faulty unit since the warranty is only a one year warranty.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for the price Go into store.. get price match.. beat by 10 percent. We have zero children so we do maybe 2 loads a week and our 1800 dollar samsung blew its motherboard after 4 years and 4 months. installed motherboard would of been around 600 bucks. Paid 450 taxes in shipped for this unit. Louder then the samsung but I have a peanut butter addiction and usually the spoons would come out of the 2k dishwasher still dirtyish... with some PB on them. 20 cycles or so with this one... Zero PB leftover. When it breaks in 4 years. Just buy another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets the job done I bought this a little over a month ago, and have used it about 2 times a week since I have. It works amazingly well. In a surprise I had stopped the dishwasher after starting it only a couple of minutes before to put a forgotten dish in, and I noticed a bowl that had stuck on alfredo was almost completely clean and the soap hadn't been dispensed yet. The water jets on this dishwasher are very powerful, and do most of the work. I've noticed too that the cycle doesn't go on forever (like my in-laws does), and actually does the entire wash and dry in 2 1/2 hours. There are other options for shorter washes (the 1 hour one, which we used the first time to test for leaks), and options to delay start which I haven't used. The only thing I could maybe criticize is that sometimes the silverware doesn't get 100% clean (one or two pieces out of all of them), but that could be due to crowding, not the machine. Overall, I'm very happy with this dishwasher.

It doesn't seem possible to adjust the top rack height on this model or am I missing something?

Asked by: MC52
Hello, In the use and care guide for this unit there are instructions to adjust the rack. I have pasted the instructions to do this below: EZ-2-Lift™ Top Rack Adjuster (on some models) You can raise or lower the top rack to fit tall items in either the top or bottom rack. Adjusters are located on each side of the top rack. To raise or lower the rack with adjuster 1 Hold the top rack with one hand near the adjuster and use the other hand to pull out the top of the adjuster. Raise or lower the rack to one of the preset positions. To raise the rack with adjuster 2 Lift and pull up. To lower the rack Lift up and let down. NOTE: The top rack must be level. -Whirlpool Central Advisors

Hello, 1. what is height clearance needed for this dishwasher? 2. does this unit come with all is needed to install without buying additional accessories? 3. do I need to save any parts from the old dishwasher? hoses? clamps? Thank you for your help.

Asked by: catherine
Hi Catherine, 1) Cut out height is 34'' Measured from the lowest point on the underside of the countertop. May be reduced to 33 1/2" (851 mm) by removing the wheels and perforated area of insulation (blanket) on dishwasher. 2 & 3) If replacing an existing dishwasher, it is recommended to install a new water line. Undercounter Brackets come included. Thanks for your questions, Whirlpool Central Advisors.

does this washer come supplied with the hoses and fitting required for installation?

Asked by: jbay1
It does come with the new hoses, but I had to repurpose the cable clamp from my old dishwasher. It looks like this https://www.homedepot.com/p/Halex-3-8-in-Flexible-Clamp-Combination-Connector-100-Pack-05703B/100132132
